Because of the screwup by Omar Khan, the @steelers won’t get their biggest need in the first 2 rounds, WR. Boston won’t be there. If they do select one, it’ll be a reach, like their 1st round pick was. Epic failure by Steelers front office.

@DaniSaik @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers I am fine admitting DK was a mistake at that dollar clip. And if the plan was to trade him next year, cool. But if you believe in DK as a 1 and Pittman as a 2, like you paid them to be, you don’t pick a WR in round 1 to be your WR3.

@DaniSaik @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers Yes - but Godwin was hurt and Evans was in the last year of a contract. Totally different than putting 210 million in two WRs in the last two years and drafting another one in round 1.

@DaniSaik @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers Odunze isthe 1 - a year later. Let Allen walk, traded someone they overpaid for (Moore). Same with SEA. If you were taking a WR 1st, you shouldn’t have paid Pittman this offseason and you should not have given DK the contract last season. Poor roster management one way or another

@JJJrSauce @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers Off the top of my head is believe Odunze & JSN were high picks and started as the #3 wr. I dont see Pittman as a long term solution. We needed some dynamic play from the wr position along with some injury insurance

@DaniSaik @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers Again, go look at McCarthy’s last two good years in Dallas where they went 12-5. His second best receiver was a TE, his 3rd receiver averaged 400 yards and 2 TDs. You can get that off the scrap heap, you don’t need to invest a first round pick in that.

@bwealand @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers Maybe you know best. His final three seasons in Dallas, his TE was his second leading receiver and his WR 3 averaged like 400 yards and 2 TDs. Roman Wilson had 160 yards and two TDs last year and barely played. Why exactly do we need a first round pick at that position?

@bwealand @mvukovcan @PaulZeise @steelers In his final two 12-5 seasons in DAL, a TE was his number 2 option yardage wise. His WR 3 averaged 400 yards and 2.5 TDs. If you feel a first round pick is well spent on a guy that’s going to give you 400 yards and 2 TDs, I guess you know more!

@OmarKin01119481 @bcmGrizzlies @DamichaelC @SainAsylum rebound and stay out of fouls trouble and a guard who can’t shoot or defend. That’s my point. I’m glad his percentage is decent in the playoffs, that got them a single series win in 6 years of having him. And if you want to compare anything Ja does offensively for a team to what

@OmarKin01119481 @bcmGrizzlies @DamichaelC @SainAsylum Ja has been great for Memphis, but at some point you have to take your fan hat off and look objectively. He shot 23% from 3 this year. He is a liability on defense, limited offensively, and oft unavailable. What exactly should you keep him for?
