Dave with ESPN made it sound a lot (on ESPN LA radio) like after retaining Austin and figuring out Lebron, the next in line to bring back as a priority is ....Jaxson Hayes. Cited his Slovenian national team connection and improved play (how he outplayed atyon most of the season and game 4 v okc, specifically) Im not saying its the move, but i think theres people in that building that believe after a couple years as back up, Hayes can take a "Derrick Lively type of leap" as the starter and they just need to get a legit back up in free agency...

Mavericks fans twisting themselves into a pretzel with 20 different hypotheticals meanwhile every single data point is on Kons side. Just sad to see people be this data illiterate in 2026.

I created a chart to show how the top freshman guards stack up offensively against each other. Here are their shooting percentages for different shot types:

An anonymous GM has AJ Dybantsa ranked No. 1, Caleb Wilson No. 2, and Darius Acuff Jr. No. 3 on his draft board, per @MarcJSpears “Real quick on Acuff: I had one GM tell me today he’s moved into the top three. Peterson might be going back down a little bit. He saw AJ as number one, Wilson two." (h/t @OmerOsman200 / @TheNBABase )
