State of FL v. @YNWMelly:
The official YNW Melly Instagram account shares an IG story on Saturday morning (May 2) to address the false reports across social media that his bond denied after news that Judge Martin S. Fein has “ruling deferred.”
With a photo of a YNW Melly in court, the caption reads: “Bond was not denied Fake News. Still waiting 🙏🏾 - God 1st.”

@RaHorkati Dude he waived the right to a speedy trial, he cooked himself. Shut the fuck up. Only people tripping bout that murderer are 30 year old black men, and 25 year old black women named Latisha with weave on
Not that it’s a “priority” thing but the YNW Melly thing got me thinking, how many other innocent people are sitting in jail waiting for trial? He’s a high profile case, albeit no one wants to touch him do to the “alleged” crime. But to see the system do this to a citizen, no matter the crime is pretty crazy. No out roar? I mean if he’s guilty then he’s guilty but let the courts decide that and give him a trial already.
I’ve seemingly noticed, the only people who want ynw melly free, are black Latisha’s with weave, and 30 year old black men that think rapping about murder is gangsta. #DoNotFreeThatNigga
@IamMrPetty8@StreetMoments_ I’ve got many black BEST friends who backed me up and if u wanna be put on this page too im down and ill make sure my black homies are standing in ur video🙂🤙
Psychiatrist in a court hearing compared YNW Melly’s condition to the film Cast Away, explaining that keeping a person in isolation for more than 15 days can damage the brain.
YNW Melly has been locked up for over 7 years.
