We used to take our son to see Santa at Lenox Square, shop there, go out to eat in Buckhead/Midtown. Now it's a shooting gallery.

The only true statement you made is about the traffic. Yes, Atlanta has crime like any major city, but Perimeter mall, along with countless boutiques and shops in the city limits are family friendly places. The classic holiday traditions of tree lighting and seeing Santa at Lenox mall are still there, along with many other attractions and activities.

They have destroyed my home town. We don't even go there anymore if we can avoid it. Traffic is horrendous, you can't shop at any of the upscale malls anymore without getting robbed. Seeing traditions like the great tree and seeing Santa at Lenox mall are no more. It's a damn shame.

Ok hear me out here. With an open mind. Here it goes. $DIS remakes all their movies. But with a twist: all the bad guys win. Dark. Sinister. Borderline horror ish. Slap a R rating on it. Would certainly be a niche. But I would watch it ngl. Why don't more movies do that where bad guys win?! K, going back to sleep.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is projecting an 80M four-day opening. Solo, the franchise's previous worst, opened to 103M over the same Memorial Day window. That result restructured the entire studio's strategy. This is the first Star Wars movie in seven years. It is tracking below the floor. The marketing campaign ran for six months. It hit WrestleMania, the Super Bowl, American Idol, and the Oscars. After all of it, the audience skewing in tracking right now is men over 25, AKA the hardcore fans who were going regardless. The family/casual audience isn't there. Three weeks out.

At the end of the day its a game. The playoff @ATLHawks are a group of young good men ( mostly Black) who lost big game on big coverage. They are no more than a decade out of HS 40 years younger than me. I don’t trip. Theyll be back
