GM Brian Gutekunst could send a message in the next 10 days by releasing OL Elgton Jenkins and DE Rashan Gary and not paying LG Aaron Banks and CB Nate Hobbs expensive roster bonuses. The message would be that a highly paid player is expected to perform like a highly paid player.

@PackersNotes Gutekunst has been there 8 years. This isn't some IT job where you get good performance reviews every year. There are 32 of these jobs on the planet. At some point, in the first 10 years (I believe), you need to deliver a championship. Otherwise you need to move on..
