If you had the choice between pairing Luka Doncic with another elite superstar you realistically could land, or building the perfect roster of role players around him, which direction are you going?

@JSMonYT Im hoping OKC decides to move on from 2 of 3... and hopefully Lakers can be an attractive trade partner since we can absorb them into our cap space and offer some future draft capital...

The Thunder currently have the highest payroll next season ($250.5M) and are nearly $30M over the 2nd apron, making it likely they salary dump a player(s) If you're the Lakers, would you put your cap space toward absorbing one of these 3 if OKC off-loads them? A. Lu Dort ($18.2M team option) B. Caruso C. Isaiah Hartenstein ($28M team option) Full breakdown here - youtube.com/watch?v=rwKHc2…

@LeLukaShow @30 Wouldn't mind this outcome. But I think PWat gets prob $30M+ to make Den blink and not match... and you need Ayton to opt-out (which might not happen). The other player I would love to get is Lu Dort...

Ideal offseason: Nic Claxton (Vando, Knecht, Laravia, pick 25) Peyton Watson ($28 mill) Rui ($18 mill) Marcus Smart (2/$20 *room exception) $10 mill to Bron or another established 2 way) Bron Vet min Resign AR (over the cap @30 mill) Luka, AR, Watson, Bron, Claxton

OKC might not be able to keep both Dort and Hartenstein next season. If the Lakers get a shot at one of them, who are you taking?

@RichStapless Great value at ~$5M (most sites valued him at like $12-$15m). So I would love to keep him, but needs to be like MLE for like 3 years.

@PlayoffDude A lot depends on much of a paycut LBJ is willing to take. Most sites estimated LBJs value to be ~$30M this year. Ideally comes back at MLE or vet min to maximize his (and Lakers) chances of a chip.

So Luka wants Austin Reaves back, and the Lakers plus LeBron reportedly have mutual interest in a new deal. If that actually happens, here’s the core starting lineup: Luka Doncic Austin Reaves LeBron James Now the question is: who are the two most realistic additions the Lakers can get to complete a starting five that can legitimately contend?

@PacersKev Should have never taken the risk... this is a fireable offense... #5 pick in this draft is equivalent to #1-2 picks in many (if not most?) drafts...

I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.

I wouldn't mind the Rams doing the 'Braden Fiske trade' again. Move up from 61 into the 35-40 range and give up a '27 second. Go guarantee yourself Boston, Bell, or Germie.

@QBsMVP @AJSchulteFB I like the idea of trading our 2027 picks to move up in the 2nd (e.g., Denzel Boston!) and/or trading for existing stars... people love and are highly valuing the 2027 picks, so why not maximize that value? This would be a classic zig when people are zagging

The worst thing the Rams could do is start trading away 2027 picks now imo. You've already punted the all in thought process, don't mortgage the future in a much better draft class now to make up for it

@JSMonYT Id prob go with Nick Smith Jr - hes the best scorer and we need scoring with Luka and Austin out. CP3 is interesting if he was still in shape, but not sure he is since he hasn't played at all. If its Nick, I hope we can get Kobe back on a 2-way.

Who do you think is the Lakers best option to sign their open roster spot with after waiving Kobe Bufkin? A. Lonzo Ball B. Spencer Dinwiddie C. Nick Smith Jr D. Cole Anthony E. CP3 (out of retirement) Should they keep it in-house with NSJr, or go to a free agent?

...running through linebackers tonight for my Rams "fits board". Ohio State LB Sonny Styles just became my highest-graded player over the last two years at a 9.4. That is someone who could mathematically change the Rams defense. Bucket 1. No debate.

16 year old Haruki Komodo is arguably the top overall youth prospect in Japan. 6’4-200lb two-way player throwing 94 mph with big power potential at the plate.

16-year-old Haruki Komoda is one of the most hyped young players in Japan. He is 6’4 tall, weighs 200lb, and is a two-way player just like his idol, Shohei Ohtani. He already throws 94.4 mph and has huge power at the plate, drawing early comparisons to a young Aaron Judge.
