@TeamHaley @NikkiHaley try to get on the @unherd and @bariweiss podcast!! Freddie and Bari apparently haven't heard of your campaign yet. Their audience needs to hear your message! They only cover trump and Biden. Lame.

It's not the night sky I am in love with, it is wonder. I don't need to go to the stars, I need more awe. Does happiness increase with all that fills our lives? Or are we confused about what we love?

So much this. Another human doesn't exist, like REALLY exist, until you have a relationship with them of some kind. Until then, they are no different than a pig you would send to slaughter. #empathy #humanity ya gotta trick your mind into understanding that they are actual humans

@harari_yuval spittin fire at 40:35 mark of @lexfridman podcast. From July. I have always abhorred #constitutionalists. The constitution isn’t from a God, it was written by men who meant for it to change to reflect current times. Cough cough Trump trial…cough

@robkhenderson But HR teams are unwilling to change their behavior. Study after study show experience and education poorly determine success (I.e. Resumes).instead of finding a new way, we commit to AI tools that only exacerbate that which we know doesn't work. We push humans farther away daily

"Hiring is a much more uncertain decision than most people want to believe. You have a candidate's CV, their references, and a few interviews...the equivalent of entering a long-term relationship based on a couple of dates and having two mutual friends." amzn.to/3svBNWb

"an applicant from a family in the top 1% of America’s income distribution is 34% more likely to win admission than a typical applicant with the same SAT or ACT score. Kids from the top 0.1 percent, meanwhile, were more than twice as likely to get in"nymag.com/intelligencer/…

@ChucklesMartel @unwisewords42 @robkhenderson and complaining about working hard. The original post is pointing out that something that should be based on how hard a kid works to study is what should fairly determine their access to schooling. Not money. Why did you react the way you did?

@ChucklesMartel @unwisewords42 @robkhenderson You are ignoring the work the kid did to get incredible SAT and ACT scores. It seems like you are throwing that away. Achieving those scores is at least 4 straight years of school and studying for most of your days. 1/3

@ChucklesMartel @unwisewords42 @robkhenderson Yet, a kid that worked less hard but has more money gets more access to something that will likely keep them wealthy (even though degrees and school pedigree has been shown time and time again to NOT predict job performance). The original post isn’t whining 2/3

Facing the fear every day that no one wants you and that you are useless (aka applying for jobs) is tiring and anxiety inducing.

@MattForVA I have noresearch, but they probs do it cuz electric cars pay no gas tax. B4 ya’ll go nuts on taxes, remember those taxes r 4 roads, 1st responders. So basically, the higher tags ensures electric cars don’t get away with not supporting the roads, emergency response they also use.

Just went to DMV to renew my plates. I renewed my daughter’s as well, but her plates were almost double. I asked why, and the lady said, “because her car is considered fuel efficient.” I said, “the tags cost more because the car burns less gas?” She said, “yes. Since other vehicle owners have to pay more for gas, you have to pay more for tags so it’s fair.” So, the government is trying to get rid of gas cars by 2035 because they’re bad for the environment. But, I buy a fuel efficient car that’s better for the environment, and I’m penalized for doing so? More evidence the government does nothing because it’s better for you or the environment. Everything they do is a money & power grab.

This is just me venting because I am sitting here this morning using AI on my resume so I can fool the AI bots that will decide if it is worthy for a human to set eyes on it.

On hiring Pre-A.I. : "It isn't efficient and poorly predicts success in a role"-Harvard, NIH, Pearson, and more. AI- "hm. Can't fix that, but what if the bad stuff was easier?" HR teams - "Okay. I guess." Post-AI : More of the bad #designfail #hiring #Recruiting

The United States' aid to Ukraine is not in charity. It is in our best national interest to assist Zelensky. Our way of life here at home depends on our strength abroad. When we show weakness, our enemies and allies take note.

At a point,u go through enough elections to mute the noise. Despite unending claims from right and left the other candidate is killing the country, #USA gets stronger. My theory? They aren’t all bad, focus on what we are good at today, not “what might happen tomorrow”
