@cmain7 Thanks! Worked my ass off. Did chest 3x per week and did heavy lifts 5x5 and slowly added weight. Any tips for bulking?

@JLUDEOBV Nice! Thats a big lift at that weight. No flat bench is mostly a personal choice, my mid/lower pecs are fine, my upper chest needs improvement, I find more benefit in incline movements that activate that area a little better

I was no exception to the "If you think you've got 20 pounds to lose, you probably have 40-50 pounds to lose" rule of thumb. Down 40.5 pounds in 5 months, here's what I did:

@jeremyausmus Ya I like this idea a lot as well. Do we have the details on how much time each player starts with? Do they get more time at a certain point? What happens when you run out of time?

Love to see this triton chess clock idea come to fruition. I've been advocating for something like this for a long time and I knew tech was at a point which made it possible. Really hoping this catches on and carries over to other venues. I think people might underestimate how much the game might speed up. When you are incentivized to save your time, you obviously act very quickly. Because of this the player next to act has to be ready to make a decision and so on. So I can envision a world where everyone is actively paying attention and ready to make their next move. No more staring at your phone and not being engaged. I think overall could lead to a more immersive and constant action environment.

Someone has to explain to me the streamed game fascination with @senortilt, a guy who… Plays the least amount of hands while constantly berating others for not playing enough… Has precisely zero interesting or funny stories & is constantly on his phone… Slow rolls (months after angle shooting!) the game’s VIP & then ridiculously claims it’s cool because they’re allegedly super close friends… Is constantly talking about the #TiltMafia… which appears to be about 25 humans and a couple hundred bots… All while having his own personal security and camera crew for a podcast/YouTube channel that’s watched by literally dozens of people… And is constantly whining and moaning whenever he loses a hand! It’s just remarkable! And it’s not like he’s some horrible player who you have to put up with because he’s such great action. He’s decidedly slightly above average & super nitty! I just don’t get it. But maybe that’s just me. 🤷‍♂️

@jeremyausmus Same thing happened to me when I started a body fat % bet and started working out 5x per week… soon you realize how much better your life is and the money incentive doesn’t matter anymore.

Day 3 of the no caffeine bet: Honestly, things have been quite easy for me thus far. I weaned off caffeine and only had a half a cup of black tea the day before the bet started. Zero withdrawal symptoms. Zero headaches. And overall feeling good. What I find most interesting is I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but couldn't quite manage to do it without putting some money on the line. I guess that tells me I need to work on my internal self-control. I shouldn't need external factors and pressure to get me to do what I'd like to do. #deepthoughts

Got an interesting March Madness Survivor sweat going $3m up top 61 teams have Illinois and Michigan To win, you need that to be the finals and then correctly pick the winner of the game How many people do you think will pick Illinois to win it all?

@jeremyausmus I think bench press max and squat max have to be way more correlated to longevity. 1.5x body weight on bench and 2x body weight squat are good goals.

Grip strength is strongly correlated to longevity so seems like a worthwhile metric to focus on. My first dead hang time was 65 seconds, which seems pretty weak to me. I'm working towards improving this, doing some hanging every day, at least 90 seconds (broken up) for now and will gradually go longer. Anyone know if this is the best way to go about it or are there specific exercises I should do?

@audavidb Eh, I don't think so. Waddle turns 28 this year. JSN was 23 last year. I do like the move for the Broncos though.

I was fortunate to take down the final event at the @PokerGOTour PokerGo Cup, a $15k buy-in where I played Sam Soverel heads up. Upon watching the stream back after the event, I realized it would be a good opportunity to share my thoughts on the match. Enjoy! youtu.be/Oc7jhCmKZzw?si…

@TheRyanFeldman Lol ironic coming from you. The way you present yourself and act at the poker table is a mockery.

If I had to guess who would surpass Kobe’s 81, first of all I would never expect it to happen this year or anytime soon, and Bam would not be on the list of guys I would ever even consider. Bizarre. Also, the way he did it was a mockery of the record books.

I found DFS in roughly 2014, and it forever changed my life. If it didn’t exist I’d almost certainly be working a “real” job right now. Incredibly appreciative of everyone in the community, thanks for following along all these years.
