And no, no team out there wants the 24th, 25th and 26th guys on the 26 man roster for their really solid player. And no, no prospects are "throw-ins" And just because prospect Z is rated 15th in 1 farm system doesnt mean hes the same or as good or better as another system's 15

We are 9.5 days from the trade deadline. Annual PSA that you're gonna see SO many tweets about how "team is interested in player X" and "team Y isnt motivated to move them." Either drumming up talking points, speaking for agents, or getting leaks for a reason. 99% of it is junk

@nheckman28 I havent seen anything that suggests the Giants are listening on him since he has multiple years of control. On top of that I dont think hes particularly all that good.

Still getting questions/seeing anger about Logan Schmidt. The Guardians might not have an agreement but they check in with players before drafting. I think they checked the agent to see if 2.6ish would be acceptable. It would have been 44th highest bonus and 8th highest prep arm
