@seattlerams_nfl I think this becomes irrelevant when you consider they’ve drafted 24 players in last 2 years… likely the most of any team over past 2 years, they clearly saw something in Fiske and went up and got there guy

Here's why this is significant. As things stand, they have four years of cost control with Fiske vs 12 years of cost control of pick 39 + 159 + 2025 2nd. These things matter when you have to pay your 2nd contracts, key free agents, etc.

my early grades for the rams draft so far: jared verse - A+ braden fiske - A blake corum - C+/B-? kamren kinchens - A the reasoning behind my lower grade for corum is that *if* you’re going RB that early, i would’ve liked someone who is more of a compliment to kyren and not a clone. corum was my #3 running back in the class but it’s not all that intriguing to me to have someone who does what kyren does. and spare me with the “injury” conspiracy with kyren - corum has injury concerns already going into the nfl and it hasn’t taken away from the potential of his talent.
