Obviously I never really noticed it until I became a dad, but I find all the anti-kids stuff online so depressing. The child free stuff is absolutely a valid choice for some people, but the extent of the negativity around parenting online is insane. Lots of it seems to be built around this idea that secretly parents regret having kids because it's hard. Nah, that just isn't it. Of course it's mental and incredibly hard, but the visceral beauty of it has made me feel more alive and in love with life than ever. Feels such a shame that so many won't have kids because there's so much discourse about them not being worth the loss of free time you incur. I wish society was so much more positive about the joys of parenting. I genuinely found like I've unlocked a whole new level of love that vastly exceeds what I felt was even possible. It's life affirmingly beautiful.

There’s been a lot of talk about the lack of resources for basketball at OU. And while I think those are more than valid, there are also a lot of examples the past four years of undisciplined basketball that have consistently cost teams that should make the tournament.

The OU men’s basketball program is flatout unacceptable. It’s not about losing. Sucks but it happens from time to time. It’s the fact they are getting embarrassed repeatedly. Tough to watch.

Great question. It's a procedural issue. ⬇️ 1) Per Senate rules: cabinet secretary nominees can only be processed ONE at a time, with 30 hours of debate for each one--unless that time gets waived. 2) Dems KNOW we have 53 seats, meaning our Republican majority will inevitably win on final confirmation, but we need unanimous consent (from all members) to bypass the 30-hour rule. 3) Democrats are refusing to allow us to process even the nominees who received 100% bipartisan support, which is why we're calling them out. In short, delaying is the only leverage they have--but @SenateGOP WILL win. Hope that helps.

The Thunder's relentlessness on the perimeter is like no one else's. They just keep throwing perimeter defenders at you: Dort, JDub, Caruso, Wiggins, Shai, Wallace. They're so aggressive in passing lanes without being major gamblers. They are ferocious attacking the basketball.
