@lisanandy This is superb news. For years I’ve known of unscrupulous promoters putting over inflated tickets directly onto secondary sites like Viagogo.

@lisanandy Same rip-off, new letterhead. They ditched “platinum” after the backlash. Surge pricing is now just the face value. Cap resale and promoters pocket what touts used to charge. Same game, no middleman. Fans save nothing.

@Tim_Burgess The cheapest ticket has a list price of £57.46. After the 12% fee, the seller's net proceeds are £50.56, a slight loss compared to the £52 cost. Why are you showing the dearest prices?

@ruprechtsfork @TheTicketTruth Financially it's a disaster. Any promoter wants to shift the majority of tickets when demand is at its peak, at the point tickets first go on sale. Thousands of fans that would have bought tickets have already zoned out.

@takethat Not revealing the actual face value of a ticket on a secondary ticketing platform is an offence under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Also, how the hell can a ticket with a total cost price of £156.01, cost an eye-watering £205! This is completely unethical.

Hi @Twickets your website hasn’t worked the whole oasis tour. You could sit on it all day refreshing & clicking tickets the minute they are uploaded only to be dealt with this every single time. I thought the purpose of your website was to defeat the bots yet you’re all the same

@heyimsally @icecream4crow @Twickets Spent the last couple of months checking Twickets daily. Have bought and sold on there previously with no issues and liked the fan to fan face value concept. Same issue as above, time after time. Eventually went to viagogo for Sats gig, got a FV ticket with no issue. Good luck

I’m lucky enough to have an Oasis ticket already. Clearly official resale partner @Twickets’ business model involves letting bots snatch the rest and deliver them to Viagogo, pretty embarrassing silence from them on the topic.
