Thank you @DoctorsManitoba for the healthy conversation last night! Key to our PC Team’s plan of healing health care is collaboration and consultation with #Manitoba doctors and health professionals. It’s with the support of clinical experts and health leadership that our PC government was able to make record investments into our health-care system. And with strong support from health leadership, our recent plan to bring more professionals into the system was a resounding success, with over 2,000 now on board in Manitoba. Our team is continuing to build on that momentum. Last week, we announced that a re-elected PC government will invest $120-million into a permanent recruitment fund to expand Manitoba’s health-care workforce and meet priority needs for Manitobans. There is a lot of work to be done in order to heal health care, but our PC Team has set out a strong path to recovery that we’re committed to seeing all the way through. #mbpoli

@Decentraphund @n8dawwggg @j_mcelroy This is one of the roughest neighborhoods in Canada. Serious drug issues. Serious homelessness. Serious mental health. People camp on streets. I’ve been there twice, last time last summer. It’s not downtown. It’s the east side where there’s little to no hope.

@DaveAlexRoberts You are very right, but on the other hand, I’m so happy to get mine to remind people every day what the red dress represents. Remember that it was the NDP who brought the idea forth, not the PC. The PCs seem to have nothing to do with the spirit of reconciliation.

My daughter has a prescription which can only be filled at one pharmacy in Manitoba. Not asking anyone to reveal any private health information, but is anyone else aware of a pharmacy having exclusive rights to a product? Pharmacists - is this normal?

Our health care system is in massive crisis…too many cuts, not enough funding. I do not blame the Brandon Clinic. I blame the government for not enough funding

@msreaderbee Just as soon as he arrives he’s escalated. He’ll come in the building and come to the classroom he’s just, idk really “high” - I say stuff like “please just take some deep breaths” and “you gotta be safe with yourself”

Ok I would like some help please! I have a student whose mornings are perpetually tough. We’ve tried starting in the gym/outside, making sure he gets extra breakfast, trying to see preferred staff, but nothing has been consistently successful. Any other ideas??

@TheLisaWalters Half sunken would be nice. I find too low and it can create more problems.
