No matter what Karen Read, or any other Free Karen Robot tries to tell you, the facts don’t lie, without Aiden Kearney, Karen Read would be sitting in a prison.
She needed a bottom-feeding blogger with just enough reach to light the match on her asinine conspiracy, and she found one. Kearney ran with it, amplified it, and handed her movement the oxygen it needed to breathe. He was her megaphone, her attack dog, and her most loyal soldier...all rolled into one. Now that he’s drowning in legal trouble, her civil trial is closing in, and her Hollywood dreams are evaporating, Karen is doing what Karen does best: rewriting history to save herself.
It won’t work.
You can’t quietly erase the person who built the foundation your entire narrative stands on. You can’t pretend the amplifier never existed once the music stops sounding good. Karen Read didn’t distance herself from Aiden Kearney because she suddenly developed a conscience ...she distanced herself because he became a liability, and liabilities get cut loose.
But here’s the thing about burning bridges: the wreckage doesn’t disappear.
Aiden Kearney isn’t a footnote in Karen Read’s story. He’s a main character and arguably the most important one outside of Karen herself. Whether she likes it or not, her freedom, her platform, and her fleeting shot at Hollywood fame were all built on the back of a blogger she now wants nothing to do with.
Karen Read didn’t find justice. She found Aiden Kearney. And that’s a distinction that will follow her no matter how far she tries to run from it.
