⚡️⚡️⚡️BREAKING: Syzran Refinery in Russia has halted operations after Ukrainian drone strikes and could remain offline for over a month. The critical crude distillation unit, responsible for more than 70% of the plant’s capacity, was completely knocked out. Located 800 km from Ukrainian-controlled territory, the facility has a nominal capacity of 8.5 million tons per year (170,000 barrels per day). In 2024 alone it processed 4.3 million tons of oil, yielding 1.5 million tons of diesel, 800,000 tons of gasoline, and 700,000 tons of fuel oil. With Moscow and Ryazan refineries also shut down following strikes on May 17 and 15, nearly all major central Russian refineries have been forced to stop or slash fuel production, inflicting economic losses on Russia’s oil sector and tightening domestic fuel supply.

The U.S. debt has just crossed $39 trillion. Trump alone is responsible for almost 30% of it. So far, Trump has added roughly $12–13 trillion to the debt across his two terms in office. That is nearly 30% of ALL U.S. national debt accumulated since 1789. Just think about this: over 250 years, 44 presidents accounted for 70% of the debt. In less than 6 years, Trump alone added 30%. That is about 18 times more than the average U.S. president in history. He is truly the worst presidents in U.S. history, causing more harm to the country than anyone else. And we will be paying for his actions long after he is gone.

Trump says the Presidential Medal of Freedom is “much better” than the Congressional Medal of Honor because the Medal of Honor is for people who are “in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead” while the Medal of Freedom is for “healthy, beautiful” people

Ruotsissa varallisuuseroja mittaava gini-kerroin on laskenut 2000-luvun aikana. Siitäkin huolimatta, että Ruotsi poisti lahja- ja perintöveron sekä varallisuusveron vuosina 2005-2007. Samaan aikaan keskimääräinen varallisuus on kolminkertaistunut, mediaanivarallisuus vastaavasti viisinkertaistunut. Ruotsin talous kukoistaa ja pääomamarkkina on Euroopan paras. Länsinaapurimme on Suomelle erinomainen esimerkki veroreformeista, joita kannattaa tehdä. Kaikki ovat Ruotsissa voittaneet. Näin kävisi myös Suomessa. Kuvio: Hammar ym. (2026)

“I never cease to be amazed by 🇷🇺. Launching their “Oreshnik” - a strategic-class missile, costing a hundred million dollars, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead - at a garage cooperative in Kyiv Oblast. Let’s count how much that night cost them. One “Oreshnik” - around a hundred million dollars worth. About ninety cruise and ballistic missiles - Kh-101, Kalibr, Iskander-K - at an average price of eight million each, that’s another roughly seven hundred and twenty million. Six hundred Shaheds at fifty thousand each - thirty million. Plus fuel, carriers, maintenance, intelligence. Total: around eight hundred and fifty million dollars for a single night. Nearly a billion. And what did they get for that billion? They clipped some garages in Bila Tserkva. Destroyed the “Kvadrat” shopping center. Set the roof of a dormitory in Darnytskyi on fire. Blew out a stairwell in a five-story building in Shevchenkivskyi. Hit a market. A supermarket. A building supply hypermarket in Obolonskyi. Dropped debris on the Lobanovskyi Dynamo stadium. Two sleeping civilians killed. Fifty-six wounded, including children. That is their strategic result for a billion dollars? That is their “special operation.” That is their “greatness.” They cannot move an inch on the front. Cannot take a single settlement of any significance. Cannot defeat the army of a country they planned to conquer in three days four years ago. And in convulsions, in agony, in impotent rage, they pound away at night against residential neighborhoods, museums, markets, shops, garages. Impotent on the battlefield, compensating for their failure with the number of munitions fired at sleeping people. Blunt evil and helplessness at the same time.” (C) 🇺🇦 Ivan Liptuga

russians keep killing civilians in broad daylight. The world keeps responding with “concern” and “condolences”. Today, russians launched a missile strike on a civilian enterprise in Derhachi, Kharkiv region. Two men, aged 68 and 25, were killed. Nineteen others were injured.

This is Ihor. He is from Russian-occupied Oleshky, Kherson region (where Russia has created and keeps on a humanitarian catastrophe). Yesterday, Russia attacked Kyiv, and the strike hit the residential building where Ihor lived. Ihor managed to get out from his apartment alive, but the only things he has left in the world are his phone, tennis shoes, shorts and T-shirt. Source: Marian Kushnir/Facebook

Viikonloppuna pidettiin demarien ja vihreiden puoluekokoukset. Tiivistän kokoukset seuraavasti. Vihreiden iltajuhlassa syötiin ”vuustolla gratinoitu weefy-briam” ja demarien iltajuhlan alku viivästyi, koska ennen juhlaa piti arvioida juhlan sukupuolivaikutukset. Hyvää huomenta.

Not enough people are talking about this. A Florida airport was renamed after Donald Trump. He walked away with the trademark, the licensing rights, and a deal that lets him profit off every piece of merchandise sold there. But the story of how he got it is even worse. County staff told commissioners that rejecting the name change would put state transportation funding at risk. DeSantis has already removed state attorneys and school board members who dared to cross him. That is the reality the Democratic commissioner who cast the deciding vote was living in when she made her choice: hand Donald Trump control of a public airport or watch Florida Republicans strip funding from the very people she was elected to represent. That is absolutely insane. Florida Republicans handed Trump a money machine and called it a naming rights deal, and the people of Palm Beach County never got a say in any of it. theguardian.com/us-news/2026/m…

The Administration telling you it’s making America healthy again just made your drinking water less safe. Trump’s EPA rolled back the first-ever federal limits on forever chemicals, stripping protections for four substances linked to kidney cancer and developmental delays in children. There was no new science to justify this decision. Just a White House that looked at decades of research linking these chemicals to cancer and decided that protecting polluters mattered more than protecting your family’s drinking water. nytimes.com/2026/05/18/cli…

Esim. Wall Street Journal teki vastikään hienon jutun Ruotsin kapitalismin muodonmuutoksesta. Lopuksi, aina voidaan ottaa oppia muualta. Ja Suomelle luontevinta on ottaa oppia rakkaasta naapuristamme Ruotsista. hs.fi/paakirjoitukse…

🎯 THE LARGEST OIL STORAGE FACILITY IN THE CAUCASUS? It was the largest. Now it’s the hottest. 🔥🥵 On the night of May 23, Novorossiysk received a very “hot” greeting. Ukrainian drones reportedly BROKE THROUGH Russian air defenses and staged a massive fire show at the “Grushovaya Balka” oil depot operated by Transneft. What does this mean from an ANALYTICAL point of view? This is not just another “cotton incident” — it is potentially a MAJOR STRIKE against one of Russia’s key oil export arteries. “Grushovaya” serves as a collection hub for the Port of Novorossiysk and reportedly stores up to 1.2 MILLION TONS of petroleum products. Just imagine the scale: 50 storage tanks of 10,000 cubic meters each, plus another 14 giant tanks holding 50,000 cubic meters each. OSINT analysts are already breaking down the footage frame by frame. The blaze was reportedly so massive that the flash could be seen from more than 11 KILOMETERS away. And that may not even be the end of it. Insider reports claim the fire may also have spread to the “Sheskharis” terminal — the final destination point of Russia’s main oil pipelines. The result: potentially millions in losses, disrupted export logistics, and another humiliating failure of Russian air defenses. Who’s next?

russian occupation is not peace. Lera Dzhemilova, a young Crimean woman suffering from epilepsy, was abducted by russian forces after a raid on her home in occupied Crimea. After a staged arrest, she disappeared into the hands of the FSB. For months, her family had no idea where she was or whether she was even alive. In the Simferopol detention center, her epileptic seizures became more frequent while she was reportedly denied proper medical care. Now russia is deporting her thousands of kilometers away to a penal colony deep inside russia. The forced transfer of civilians from occupied territories is prohibited under the Fourth Geneva Convention and may constitute a war crime. This is what russian occupation really looks like. Fear. Disappearances. Prison camps. Human suffering.
