@Flesh_Tuxedo @6ManYT I don’t think this is fair. Rudy (love him) ruins floor spacing. Julius is on maybe the worst playoff run ever. He gets double teamed and his teammates miss open shots off the pass. Can we really blame Ant for his teammates falling short? Are we sure it’s a leadership issue?

People always miss one point with Ant. He’s not as good as the other guys, don’t get me wrong he’s very very good but hes not Wemby, Shai or Luka level. Also is he not a golden boy? Everyone loves Ant
cdott@cdott_x

Sometimes I wonder how is Ant not the NBA golden boy? - Ethical hooper - Physical freak - Plays through injuries - Electric personality - American - won US Gold - Came from nothing - Making a small market team relevant Am I missing something? He is everything you want in a star

@JustinHHill @Andrew669631 Considering I own multiple properties, I’m less Marxist than you. It’s just a stupid fucking argument and it only drives the point home if you’re braindead and want it to be true

I found out that our Marxists friends don't understand surplus value or even info-graphics. You have to explain it to them as if they were kids. I took effort to make this.

@JustinHHill @Andrew669631 incredible you are simply not grasping it. If the numbers don’t reflect reality as you state and they solely drive the point (as reflected in my equally ridiculous example supporting the opposite conclusion), don’t you think it’s a bad fucking argument I know new steps add cost

@JMick__ @Andrew669631 You just proved yourself FUCKING STUPID. His numbers are small to be more easily undertsood, not reflect reality. A shirt company isnt buying the wool, They buy the fabric, the fabric maker bought the threat from the loomer, who bought the wool first. Each new step adds cost.

@elon_gs @ive_arc Not saying we should we add spending. More trying to illustrate that things like foreign wars are existing budget waste I think most supporting student loans would be supportive of punishments to the predators. In absence of that, we can look to waste elsewhere. Both work though

@JMick__ @ive_arc yeah we should stop spending so much on foreign wars too. but just because the military budget is high doesnt mean we should just add to it with load forgiveness without consequences to the predators that caused this. this should be reduced across the board

@thebrainsmind @rogermcevilly @Quazardragon @SecKennedy @US_FDA Swear to god yall can’t understand anything Could we potentially connect using the chemical name to the original point? Perhaps that drives home a certain point better than calling it water? Perhaps it illustrates that we use chemicals daily but don’t consider them chemicals?

Huge MAHA win! We are raising the bar on food safety. Just because a chemical is widely used doesn’t mean it’s safe. @US_FDA will now continuously review chemicals in our food — and act faster when risks appear.

@elon_gs @ive_arc What’s the functional difference in the burden and benefits of cancelling loans and our 5Y spend on military? We spend roughly $10T on military from tax $$$. An argument for military spending is trickle down, however, loan cancellation would do the same (arguably more impact)

@ive_arc if we just cancel college debts by paying them off for people without punishing the schools and banks that preyed off people and prevent it from happening again then nothing is fixed and we get higher taxes. simply cancelling student debt without looking deeper is retard thinking

@JustinHHill @Andrew669631 Are you dense that’s the point dumbass Point to a company buying wool for $4 and selling a finished product for $15 (only wool used) The numbers drive the entirety of the point. Inserting different numbers makes a completely new point. His unrealistic numbers are as bad as mine

@KittyCatRightM3 @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 It seems you’re intentionally dodging the point, don’t be daft. The taxes you listed, outside of income tax, is accounted for in the cost upstream. Companies use the BBB to dodge increasingly more taxes. The graphics numbers are also the entirety of the point and are misleading

@JMick__ @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 Now you are just coping about the accounting rules and tax law. It is still not misleading at all to include tax in an example. 88/500 is still not most. And most of your examples are probably from carrying forward a huge loss etc so they are not really profiting at all.

@KittyCatRightM3 @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 I just sent a link of 88 of 500 Fortune 500 companies (all profitable) paying $0 in federal income tax. Many do not pay. Regardless, it isn’t true profit bc reinvestment is deducted pre tax Companies pay far less than you believe. The tax they do pay are accounted in materials

@JMick__ @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 The graphic is just and example of a company making profits at every stage. Companies do pay income tax when they profit. It's not misleading in the slightest. It's not even super relevant to understanding surplus value. You are just coping about very real taxes for some reason.

@KittyCatRightM3 @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 The graphic heavily relies on numbers for the point. Where are you buying a new sweater with $4 of wool for $15? I could make the graphic with the opposite message - I buy wool for $1 and am taxed $1. I then make it for $2 of man hours and sell it for $150. The numbers matter

@JustinHHill @Andrew669631 I can share the same example and make the opposite point with equally crazy #s. Brand A buys wool for $1. Wool is taxed $1 bringing it to $2. Brand sells it for $100 and profits $98. The numbers in the graphic are divorced from reality but relies on those numbers for the point

@JMick__ @Andrew669631 This is how basics work dude. Sorry you are to damn stupid to understand. Start at the shearer, it cost X to pay someone to shear or your own labor is worth X, Loomer gotta pay for that, in order to not lose investment they gotta charge MORE then they paid for the wool and so on

@KittyCatRightM3 @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 You’re arguing semantics here on a tweet limited to 280 characters. Sure, I could’ve been more concise. The point stands though - corps have massive tax breaks AND the graphic is deeply misleading. The majority of the taxes are included in the cost of production, not post sale

@JMick__ @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 They are very relevant and plenty of them are variable(as if fixed cost actually makes it not a tax?). You are coping about an example in the first place saying many companies don't pay taxes which is clearly delusional when taken in totality. No doubt taxes are at every stage.

@HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 Correct, however the tax is after the sale. Your other taxes are including in COGS and are prior to taking a profit. TSLA wrote of $2.4B in taxes off $12B in PROFIT. That’s not only after the taxes referenced, but also after deductions like R&D which are reinvestment of profit

@KittyCatRightM3 @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 Most aren’t relevant to the point - he pays $4 for wool. The cost of all of those are reflected in the COGS. Those numbers are reflected in the input cost & many are flat fees rather than increasing with additional sales. The tax in the graphic is after sale - thus an income tax

@JMick__ @HughJazzFan7 @Andrew669631 Sales tax(buy/selling), property tax, taxes and fees on utilities, fuel tax, registration taxes for vehicles, matched etc payroll taxes for employees. There are about 100 taxes you aren't even considering. Would be dishonest not to include them at every stage.

I don’t want to get too optimistic, but considering the league’s decision to not suspend Victor Wembanyama had to do with the refs not calling any fouls beforehand, plus Mitch Johnson’s comments after the games about protecting players, maybe the Spurs can finally stop being assaulted every play.
