I still put more blame on Craig. Needed to fix the OF situation. All this “talent” is playing too tight.

It just hit me. Maybe the best way to describe Red Sox fans to others. Sox fans want the Sox to win 90 games and make the playoffs but feel that losing 72 games is absolutely unacceptable

I think the difference with the Sox is their core that is extended is not guaranteed to play daily, and that’s all thanks to Craig not dealing with the over abundance of OFs

@OMBHusky16 @tylermilliken_ Baseball is the hardest game there is. Giving these guys contracts so early also adds pressure. A lot of pressure. Hard to play well when you are puckered up tighter than a snare drum.

That's an interesting line from Alex Cora about giving young players extensions. "The dynamic changes though, it changes when you have a number of players under those kinds of deals." Rosenthal then frames it in a negative way.
