@TheLucasToday @hell_line0 Thing is the gloves are primarily worn in those situations for the protection of the person wearing them, they aren't doing it to protect the person they are checking. Nothing wrong with insisting they are changed before touching you.

the fact that gloves are being used as a costume instead of actual hygiene protocol tells you everything about security theater. they exist to make you feel safe, not to actually keep you safe. asking someone to change gloves between passengers shouldn't be a controversial request

The last time I went thru tsa, a woman told me that she had to check my hair. I told her, “that’s fine. Just change your gloves.” She said, “wait, what?” I said, “haven’t you been rubbing in between folks legs & armpits all day, now you want to put your hands in my hair? Change your gloves or find someone that will.” I’m just trying to figure out why folks don’t THINK. She rolled her eyes & went thru the motions like I was the problem. & I WOULD DO IT AGAIN, what u thought?

@JMorg2023 @CraigVanbebber @teachthemx3 The student was not present. This was an adult working alone to complete work in the student’s name.

I just sat through a staff meeting pretending I don't know why a teacher "retired." She recorded a colleague doing math work for a student, who turned it in as their own. When she took it to admin, she was told to retire or be reported to HR for recording staff. The "retired" teacher is considering going to the media because she has a lot to share. There's so much the public doesn't know about what goes on in schools.

@eduleadership @CraigVanbebber @teachthemx3 Not where safeguarding of a minor is concerned. It is simply not acceptable to film a minor in school without consent or on a personal device. The issue that will cause her concern I imagine is about this element of how she went about it
