‘Israel is accused of genocide, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, collective punishment, starvation, war crimes, and so on. In normal legal reasoning, such claims are tested against evidence, definitions, context, intent, precedent, and the conduct of the enemy.’ The International Court of Justice has ruled that genocide is plausible. It has also (implicitly) ruled that Israel practices Apartheid. It has also ruled that Israel has conducted starvation policies, hence collective punishment policies, as starving people is a form of collective punishment. Under what rock have you been living?
