Chris Hughton has revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year. By sharing his story, he’s helping raise awareness and encouraging people to get checked. In the UK, 1 in 4 Black men will get prostate cancer, double the risk of other men, and the risk increases from the age of 45. Wishing Chris all the very best. 🖤

Food insecurity is a major issue among cancer survivors, affecting an estimated 17% to 55% of survivors—well above the U.S. average. A multidisciplinary team at Sylvester and @UFHealthCancer is working to better identify survivors at risk, connect them with resources and improve quality of life, paving the way for national solutions. Learn more: loom.ly/WIfo3YY The initiative, Adding Social Context to Address Cancer Survivorship Outcomes (ASCENT) is led by @DrTracyECrane and @Dr_dbraithwaite of @UF. The project is developing a digital tool to routinely screen patients for food insecurity and malnutrition.
