Cheat is such an emotive word and Boro knew that and that's why it became so big. how can a £200k fine 6 years ago now be equally to 4 points and elimination. @Thunda007 @SirGowen @talkSPORT Efl would lobby for the outcome they wanted from the Independent Commission in the case. So conflict of interest remains if a member of EFL board is connected heavily to Middlesborough.

@ChrisElliott2 @talkSPORT Exactly Leeds exploited a rule that wasn’t there, So after Leeds spying on Direby, the EFL brought in the rule. Southampton broke said rule on 3 occasions they have admitted to, and in the knock out part of the season, expulsion is correct.

@talkSPORT I am a Saints fan and this is 2 interviews I’ve heard by this guy. We were wrong and accepted that but this was trial by media which resulted in a ticking time bomb that the EFL found difficult to ignore. Gibson and Boro played the media well whereas Saints didn’t is my view.
