@bennyolson6 @WHENESOTA @CreaseAndAssist Remember at McGovern’s when I asked ‘who’s going with to Denver!?!’ And you replied ‘Yeah right!’ But you had to watch me all night long on the national tv broadcast because every time there was a scrum near the net—my face was on the tv!

@WilliamSpelts Had a very similar pair as a kid - mine were Super Tacks. And when you watch Youngblood tell her that this is when Johnny Utah meets Bodhi for the first time...(very few will get this reference without googling it)

Watching Youngblood with my 20 yr old daughter. I’ve had her pause it a thousand times to explain the greatness of the 80s. Then I told her I had those skates. No way she says. Yup and I go to the garage to get them. I might have been cool for :20.😂. #TimeMachine #Memories

@RyanRecker I was at Johnson’s debut. I was 13. Different times. Myself and three friends took public transportation and we lived 60 min away. And our parents were fine with it. That isnt happening in 2026.

Days after winning a gold medal at the 1980 Olympics, Mark Johnson of Team USA made his Penguins debut. Johnson led the Americans with 11 points in the Olympics, scored twice against the Soviet Union, and scored the final goal of the gold medal game against Finland.

@annbauerwriter I love following your work here on X. You’re a tremendous writer. And someone whom I believe has come to your assessment of what’s happening here in Minnesota in a most-honest… transparent and thoughtful manner. I hope to connect w you in person soon. Could not have been happier to see to see the NYTs finally weighing in on just WTH is happening to Minnesota. Looking forward to connecting w you in the near term. Thanks for your kind words on my team’s work. There’s so much more to be done. ☮️

Just over 6 weeks ago, I wrote this. Two weeks ago, I moved out of MN permanently. In that time, 3 articles have come out on the fraud & corruption in MN, each one filling in a little part of the awful story. Believe me, I sat in those rooms; there's more to tell. Buckle up.
Ann Bauer@annbauerwriter

Let me tell you about the last straw for me in Minnesota. It wasn't the taxes or crime. It wasn't the fact that our city burned or was locked down or even that we have the dumbest governor. It was this: Six months ago, a whistleblower contacted me to talk about fraud in MN.🧵

Why I left Minnesota: The taxes, the fraud, the fraud, the fraud. The fact that every single conversation became political and having a centrist or questioning point of view meant being screamed at, shunned and alienated - everywhere. Neighborhood, coffeeshops, business meetings, yoga classes. The crime that everyone said wasn't happening. The high prices. The deterioration of once-great systems: public education, public libraries, public parks. The graft in every direction. The road rage. The corrupt elected officials. The frequent newsworthy murders born of all the division and hatred and politicking. The Marxist trans activism culture that squashed and exploited real living LGBT individuals, subsuming them into a dystopian cause. The dirty, ripped-up streets; government agencies that don't do their jobs; ridiculously insecure information systems at government and university levels that are constantly being hacked. The overpayment of social service dollars to buy votes. Oh, and the ballot harvesting which is definitely going on at more-than-Romanian-level rates. The superiority of the brahmin public sector set: the millionaires who work for state, city and university. The absolutely worthless and captured newspaper of record that has ignored some of the biggest stories in the nation (world?) because of their political ties. The fact that they took my home - which was beautiful and warm and civil - and made it into a proto-socialist experiment that oppresses everyone except the brahmins. Tim Walz. Keith Ellison. Ilhan Omar. The slavish Republicans who pretend to oppose them but really suck from the same trough. Property tax levies. Inoperable light rail that cost billions. January and February - dim, hard, and cold.

Most claims are accurate based on verified sources: MTG's resignation is effective Jan. 5, 2026, after vesting on Jan. 3; she qualifies for a lifelong pension at age 62 after 5 years; net worth rose from ~$700k to ~$25M since 2021, mainly via her business. Last payday around Jan. 2 is plausible. However, resigning requires a termination financial disclosure, not exemption from filing.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is stepping down from Congress and warning Americans that “there is no plan to save the world and no 4D chess being played,” insisting both parties have already betrayed the people. She says she never changed, but broke with her party over H1B visas, the AI takeover, 50-year mortgages, ending foreign wars, and demanding the full release of the Epstein files. Greene adds that no foreign country has any business influencing the halls of the U.S. Congress.

@smittysezit @gearedandready @oilwars71 @WallStreetApes Gearedandready—what do you think of this comment? I think Frank is right on. But our do-nothing politicians (on both sides) will never address it, let alone solve it. I need to get ‘geared and ready’ and do something myself. This is unsustainable.

@gearedandready @oilwars71 @WallStreetApes 300 per person on average. Must be on AM Better. Descent health plans cost more than that. The ACA drove prices too high. They need to trash it and go back to underwriting for plans. People who won’t qualify can get put in comp plans like before. They were better what we have now

American father of 3 is considering cancelling his family’s health insurance even through it “feels very irresponsible.” He just can’t afford it anymore He pays -$1,500 a month in premiums - Each person in his family has a $6,000 deductible So he would have to spend “$30,000 in co-pays that we have to pay on top of the $18,000 in monthly charges to actually get coverage.” ‘Health insurance is the biggest scam’
