@Hisomtheboat I can't imagine there are many people outside of NY picking Big. Serious hip hop fans who were alive during this time do not view Big on the same plane as 2pac. Pac was more prolific, an incomparably better writer and lyricist. Big had an addictive style. Pac was a rap legend.

@MrChuckD I drink often. Never drive. Ever. I am not wealthy so I have to play by the rules. 2x offender means he is a danger to others behind the wheel. He also has the means to have a 24-hour secure driver. He may have a sickness with drugs or alcohol but he is moving wrong.

@JOSHofLA @MattStopa Prince is ahead of some of the players you named. He was not in awe by Page. He could do anything they could do. He had respect for Gilmour, May, the great bluesmen. But Prince's guitar Gods were Santana, Freddie Stone, Terry Kath, and Hendrix. Some of y'all don't know his work.

Whenever I see accounts like this dismissing Prince as a guitarist it's usually from novices who only know P's axe prowess from his 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame solo, have never experienced his music/live shows or white rockists who can't imagine Prince trouncing their fave.

@murphdogg29 @MattStopa If you are in circles that rate Clapton ahead of Prince at anything then you need new circles. Prince is still firmly behind Page, Gilmour, Lifeson, Brian May, Duane Allman, Otis Rush, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Hendrix and Im sure I missed many more.
