@01joyrl There’s definitely evidence that Max is still one of the most consistent drivers, and adapting well but only shown in the data. Right now, the car is limiting performance. And I wouldn’t jump to conclusions about Isack > Max after JPN qualifying; aeros were different.

@FcbTonyfcb All the energy management, the 50/50 hybrid split he hates is harder to answer because the car itself is such a bottleneck. Until Red Bull close the gap to Mercedes, it’s almost impossible to separate the driver from the machinery. (2/2)

@FcbTonyfcb So based on the top F1 analysis YouTube channel and the data, yes, he’s adapting well relative to his car and is maximizing what’s there. But the bigger question of whether he’s adapting to the new driving style (1/2)

Max Verstappen wanting to quit because he can’t adapt should tarnish is reputation as a champion. Childish display to say the least. #formulaone

@tirii_f1 It wasn’t a good moment for LH. I think many competitors have it in them to lie in order to win. The screwing someone else over is the part that is hard to dismiss or justify. He was young and stupid. He grew up, thankfully. 😅

In 2009, A driver lied to the face of the stewards. That driver was penalized by a DSQ in Australian GP. The lie-gate Scandal was enormous that Team Principal stepped down & Sporting Director was fired The driver in question wanted to quit F1 coz he was called a liar and to his perception he wasn't when infact he had lied. HE WANTED TO QUIT F1

@MV33Racing This feels a bit cryptic so wish people would just say and provide more context. Or else it just keeps this story alive and more online discourse.

🚨 British journalist Jonathan McEvoy defends Max Verstappen and calls Giles Richards a 'Snake'. Jonathan McEvoy from The Daily Mail destroys Giles Richards and other hypocrite British journalists: 🗣️"I was there when Max Verstappen kicked out a British reporter and know what really happened - this is why the journalists moaning about the incident should keep quiet." 🗣️"The name of the scribbler in question is Giles Richards – affectionately known to his pals as ‘Snake’, a moniker he delights in, the origins of which I do not remotely know. But when he turned up in the paddock a few years ago, he asked his new colleagues to address him thus." [Daily Mail]

@CalumCrowe10 I don’t think Max believes he is owed anything. I think he’s just saying what he believes. On a separate note, just wanted to share some feedback if I may. I did find that your article was written from an emotional, angry place and I wonder if that truly belongs in your work.

@RayyLH44 People will never change their minds on who they believe won that year. In 2021, many reactions pointed to fans believing Merc messed up on strategy and screwed LH. It’s just a small % of MV and LH fans that won’t let it go and will keep obsessing about it to unhealthy levels.

- smoked verstappen on race start that too on medium tyres - got past checo too - built 10+ sec gap - when nothing worked out, fia and michael masi came to help - michael masi lost the job - fia eventually released a report admitting it was straight-up human error.

On this day, Lewis couldn't even look Max in the eyes. He knew, he was afraid. He knew he was facing the greatest driver of all time and he froze. Max on the other hand, he saw the fear, the hesitation and pounded like an animal he is. The best driver won the race, won the trophy. BE LIKE MAX 💯

@FDataAnalysis @F1 Thanks mate! I’m glad McL is making a comeback. It looks like RB is officially a midfielder now. Kudos to Alpine for being in the top 4 now. Ferrari - let’s step it the f*ck up. I ain’t doing another year of torment with hopium and then copium. No. No I will not.

📊 RACE PACE 1)Merc 2)McL +0.24 s/lap 3)Ferrari +0.32 4)Alpine +0.97 5)RBR +1.02 6)Haas +1.59 7)Audi +1.71 8)RBs +1.74 9)Williams +2.13 10)Cadillac +3.14 11)Aston +3.99 My take on the race: -ANT could be the most likely WDC. 2 wins in 3 races, already matching RUS's best season! Must improve his starts, though -McL is back, having achieved peak PU performance (either through testing or Mercedes assistance) -Ferrari, and LEC in particular, maximised their points once again. Performance will come -GAS beat VER thanks to pace and better straight-line performance -Regulations work better for races than for quali -COL was going NINETY-TWO km/h slower than BEA: something must be done about these regulations, creating dangerous situations Rate the race from 1 to 10!

@tirii_f1 I don’t think it’s a scam. I think this is just how he is. You can call it performative, but based on what I understand of LH and other stars like him, they use their platform to spread awareness. Some donate, others build paths to solutions. LH spreads the word.

We have seen scams but never this much on the global scale. The scam in question: BLM. Lewis in his efnite wisdom doomed most of the drivers to a silly charade. The glorification of race superiority coupled with victim mentality and demonization of anyone who didn't submit to this propagated madness. If all lives don't matter, none does matter. Distinctions are for the weak!!

@there_is_no_if 💯- There’s lots of politics BTS. I think we all need to be patient and trust that F1, FIA, teams will ultimately do right by the sport. There are some fandoms who are too negative to drivers, TPs, commentators, etc. Everyone is testing and figuring things out. Let them.

@JP4good They will most certainly be adjusting the split. The only question is when, as with everything F1 there's a lot of behind the scenes politics involved. So far it looks like race-wise it may only happen next year.

@RayyLH44 It’s actually a larger pattern I’ve seen online. People have such extreme, emotional responses to drivers they love and hate. This includes both MV and LH fans. No nuances or objectivity in their responses. Which is why it’s harder for them to convince people of their POVs.

@RayyLH44 I’m not sure because I’m not Max, but my point was about the journalist not being informed and writing from an emotional place which doesn’t belong in reporting and likely shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Aramco have an agenda Against Max Verstappen. They have never given him a 10 even when he was grandslaming. Now they can't even rate him? Ooh, they are in solidarity with their evil siblings boycotting Max Verstappen. Makes sense

@MotorsportiveHQ I love Kimi but it’s way too early to tell if he will be the Italian Verstappen. But, I understand why F1 and commentators want to push this on us. They need to set up the narrative of the next superstar. For me, Kimi needs more fire and personality to him.

@SkySportsF1 I think Max is just being Max right now. He’s always been reactive but it doesn’t mean he’s not being honest. If he gets a car that will allow him to be him, I think he will stay. It’s that simple.
