My oldest dearest friend died today at 60 after 18 months fighting off cancer. He has a beautiful family. My heart goes out to them. We met aged 12… bonded over music and shared experience of bereavement .. his mum, my dad. We were in bands.. at school, in Manchester and recently regrouped in our 60s to make some epic tunes.
