@twizted8913 @free_Freehawk @AdamCSharp Gosh. I've been interested in the Luftwaffe since I was around 12, after a cousin gave me a book about it, with an introduction by Adolf Galland. I had no idea that Fokker were Dutch! That's my "learn something everyday" fact. Thanks!

@free_Freehawk @AdamCSharp fokker was dutch, anthony fokker worked for the germans when he started out since they had better industrial capacity to support his airplane business, and after wwI, he moved most of his business to the US, where he would pass away there in NYC

The Dutch word for a horse breeder is paardenfokker (paarden = horses, fokker = breeder) and that's all the context you need for this terrible joke... ENGLISHMAN: what do you do? DUTCHMAN: I fok horses ENGLISHMAN: pardon? DUTCHMAN: yes paarden
