So grateful to connect with so many authenticity scholars at #AOM2024 💐 Special thank you to Belinda Zakrzewska for keeping the interdisciplinary fire going for all these years — as well as @ericarbailey and Jacob Brown for organizing an excellent symposium!

Very few people actually want to "bring their whole self to work". But many of us do want to bring more of ourselves to work. How can we do that in a way that helps (versus harms) our workplace relationships? Enjoyed speaking with Time about my research: lnkd.in/ecAn5Ut9

1/ SURPRISE! I have the most amazing colleagues at NYU Stern's Management and Organizations department. That's not a surprise. They are awesome. The cake, the cupcakes, the champagne, the somehow keeping under wraps in a research meeting

@profbohns Thanks for the shoutout @profbohns! It’s interesting how anti whole self this article is…I’d say bringing “more” (but not everything) of yourself is a good move, both personally and professionally.

Many U.S. workers don't want office friendships as they try to rebuild work-life boundaries, another sign people are separating their identities from their jobs. Per new Gallup data, 17% of hybrid workers have a best friend at work — down from 22% in '19 wsj.com/articles/forge…

On a day devoted to celebrating romantic love, I’m remembering Sigal’s commitment to studying - and embodying - companionate love at work. Sigal was bold, brilliant, an absolute force of nature. I am so grateful to have known her.

A thread (1/n) I was trained by a scholar who studied love, told us it was okay to show love to each other at work and showed me love when I needed it most through the loneliness of graduate school and the tenure track nytimes.com/2022/02/13/bus…

1/ Very excited that my paper with @NRothbard is in press at AMJ: We find that that as men increase in power, they face less retaliation for moral objection. Unfortunately, however, we find that women continue to face retaliation regardless of power.

@DollyChugh @pomonacollege I know right?? But I’d be so nervous - what if I send someone a Pride and Prejudice and they are actually more of a Catcher in the Rye? So stressful!

A big reason I chose to attend @pomonacollege is that they made me feel like a human, not a cog, during the admissions process (and beyond). This year they sent every accepted student a handpicked novel based on their application 😭: reddit.com/r/ApplyingToCo…
