I have been a conservative for years grew up with conservative family @PierrePoilievre is the best conservative leader we have had in YEARS! If he is forced to resign I don't know what I would do because honestly the only reason I was looking at other political parties to support because I could not stand @erinotoole and honesty their isn't a party out there that I would throw My support behind this is another reason Alberta needs to separate @PierrePoilievre is a strong conservative leader and if he is forced to resign then you can say goodbye to the conservative party

Conservative politicians are being given backroom deals—or being blackmailed—to switch parties and prop up the Liberal Party of Canada into a majority government
This is the equivalent of Republicans flipping to Democrats, building an unelected majority, and ramming through extremist policies no one voted for
Throw in the hardcore censorship bills they’re passing at the same time, and it’s like those now official new democrats then banning free speech, fast-tracking social media “hate crime” prosecutions, and doing whatever the hell they want… because your vote no longer matters
They could turn all of Texas blue overnight and ram through the most extreme, democracy-ending policies—and you’d have no say in it
Every single person should have a serious issue with this, regardless of political preference or affiliation

This is my thought about this situation. “If all the regular pundits and news outlets in Canada even have the nerve to ask “what’s wrong with @PierrePoilievre S leadership” think again. There is a crisis in this country and people no longer need to vote. A better question is “why is the @liberal_party so morally bankrupt”. Keep up the good fight.

Canada is in a quiet democratic crisis.
With 5 MPs crossing the floor to join the Liberals, the will of Canadian voters is being undermined by Carney's desire for a majority and the perfidious nature of those enabling him.
For our democracy to work, Canadians must be able to trust it. Floor crossing undermines that trust.

People need to stop focusing on Pierre and turn their attention to the sleaziness of the Liberals and how they attempted to gain a majority. What did Carney offer, behind the scenes, to bring these people over? Marilyn G encouraged the truckers to continue their protest, she stood in Parliament and berated Carney for what he was doing to the country and she signed a petition that anyone contemplating crossing the floor must resign for a by-election. What kind of morals and integrity does this woman have to abandon her principles? She is classless. She was elected 4 times as a Conservative and suddenly has a vision that the Liberals are better. No way. She was bought somehow. What was she promised? What kind of party accepts an MP like her? The Liberals who will do anything to keep power. She may be happy there but in the next election, her constituents will boot her to the street.
