British Columbians are paying the price for years of NDP mismanagement and Metro Vancouver’s reckless spending and now the chickens are coming home to roost. Let’s not forget, these are the same people who turned the North Shore wastewater treatment plant into a billion-dollar boondoggle that’s going to cost families up to $700 a year for the next 30 years. Taxpayers are getting soaked while senior managers line their pockets. This is exactly why I said we need to abolish the bloated Metro Vancouver governance structure and turn it back into a simple, accountable water, sewer, and garbage utility. Enough with the political empire-building on the backs of ratepayers.

Join the Kerry-Lynne Findlay momentum movement and vote today in the BC Conservative Leadership Election if you haven’t already. In the Cowichan case affected area in Richmond, I know firsthand how much this vote really means to us here and everyone else concerned about private property in this province. We need KLF’s experience and strong bold leadership, because things are just so bad in this province right now and we can’t afford any less.

Money laundering is the engine driving drug trafficking, fentanyl deaths, gang violence, and extortion across our province. British Columbia has become a major hub for transnational organized crime, and far too little has been done to stop it. I have a clear and decisive plan to fight this crisis. I will immediately appoint an Independent Officer of Anti-Money Laundering, an officer of the legislature who can investigate and publicly report without any political interference. As Premier I will be the strongest provincial voice in Canada demanding real action from Ottawa. That means pushing for a federal racketeering law, full data sharing from Fintrac to our police, and immediate improvements to security at Delta Port where less than one percent of containers are currently searched. We will also target organized crime groups and crypto-enabled money laundering networks that allow criminals to move dirty money with ease. British Columbians deserve real leadership and real results. This is the strong, decisive action I will deliver. Join me, findlay4bc.ca

The main takeaway from the B.C. Conservative leadership race is how politically engaged the right has become in BC. The BC Conservatives are energized and have a chance to reform British Columbia. Compared to the stale affair in 2021, when the BC Liberals elected a new leader, the contrast is night and day. Even back then, you could tell it was already a dead movement In this race you can see that an entirely new cohort of people has become engaged in politics. Fundamentally, it feels like a real grassroots movement. It would be a tragedy for the BC Conservatives to elect somebody who hands this special thing back to the same insiders who ruled the Liberals/BC United like their own little fiefdom. That would kill the momentum this party has built, and that would be a tragedy for British Columbia The next leader has a real chance to reform the way government works and who government serves. B.C. cannot continue under the destructive B.C. NDP, but going back to the old model of elite insiders who want to use the BC Conservatives as a vehicle to recreate the Liberal party would be just as disastrous

Voting has officially started. I have not changed my mind. I’ve doubled down & tripled down. I wish I could personally vote for Caroline Elliott. She has the knowledge, the class & the conviction to take down Eby. If you’re registered in BC, consider her as a top vote. She’s against: -Land claims -DRIPA -Land acknowledgments -SOGI -Drug addicts on the streets The first 2 points, are tearing BC apart & making it an uninvestable province. Caroline literally has a PhD in Aboriginal Self Governance. She will put an end to DRIPA & Eby’s nonsense. I was the first to endorse her. Because I see the long game. She has the “it factor” to pull those in the middle, into the light. I’m confident she will turn BC around. And despite her being clear in her positions, in the most unequivocal way possible, the best people can do to attack her, is say “she’s a Liberal”. If she’s a Liberal, then apparently so am I. She’s going to make an outstanding Premier. I hope folks in BC see what I see. I wouldn’t put myself out there for her, if I didn’t strongly believe in her. I hope others do too.

I took a leave of absence from the BC Conservative board as the South Island Regional Director (appointed by John Rustad) for the leadership race because I wanted to be able to freely speak about the race as someone who got their start as a commentator. I don’t know what can or can’t get me in trouble right now which is why I have been a bit too quiet throughout this race. I also have people who I considered friends in multiple campaigns who I never wanted to upset. They say loyalty is the biggest currency in politics.. I give 120% of that loyalty to THE PARTY / MOVEMENT / MEMBERS So much so that I gave up my 15 year business to go all in on it (dumb) I know I’m not getting my job back if certain people win.. and I have made peace with that

Tomorrow voting starts in the BC Conservatives’ leadership race! I hope Kerry-Lynne Findlay wins! BC has an awful NDP government and we had an awful Liberal one before that. BC needs change and we need @KerryLynneFindl, a competent, experienced conservative as our next premier.

Very proud today of the many principled individuals, and friends, in the BC Conservative Party and at the top making decisions. People spent years building this party. I understand the various concerns, but I can assure you, for now at least, this is not the BC Liberals.
