With a look at Russia's pipeline network, Ukraine's strategy becoming clear. With only two routes available for Russian oil's journey from drilling locations in the east to the refineries, export terminals and 80% of the Russian population, taking out these two locations is key. Today's strikes on a pumping station facility near Ufa and last week's several strikes on Perm, making it clear.

It seems that every Russian oil facility within 2200km of Ukraine is now slated for destruction (around 75% of Russia's total). Today's victim, the Russian region of Perm, where raging hellfire currently engulfs a major refinery complex.
