Here's a sign of California's eagerness to get your money I received the following alert from Coinbase, where I have <$1k in holdings I've never really been an active user. Sometimes crypto folks have sent me small tips, which is why I set the account up. Now, it has been a while since I last logged in. Maybe a year? Maybe two? So while not recently, is that long enough for the state to declare it "unclaimed property" and seize it? Not in my opinion. California really just wants to grab folks' money wherever they can, as fast as they can. I've logged back in and updated my address to Nevada, so hopefully California no longer has claim on this account (though that's not clear to me at the moment) Given how little $ I have here, I'm not that worried about this, but..sheesh Sure glad I got out of that state
