Have to say I’ve been majorly underwhelmed by Chukwuani since he joined Rangers. Came here for a big fee (£4.3m) & hasn’t been great. Some of his passing is really poor & his overall energy in the middle has been passive at times.

Looking at next season, there aren’t many players we would be desperate to keep, which is remarkable given recent spend. GK - upgrade needed Def - need a starting RB & CB CM - need a DM & creative mid (any one of current midfielders can be sold) Wingers - Gassama is an option on left. We have nobody on right. Curtis back in the fold. ST - Chermiti is fine but we need more. Not seen enough from Naderi / Miovski Another big spend, big turnaround needed

Of our Summer and Jan signings, only Fernandez looks like he will be an asset. Rommens has to prove he can stay fit. But the rest have been so poor, massive wastes of money. Our recruitment is beyond shite! Even by law of averages, we should have unearthed a star by now?!?!😂

Chuk right now looks poor but if he gets fit after pre season and can become a good ball winning CM to compliment better passers around him his passing becomes less of an issue

If we have a 6 who can get their foot on the ball it frees him up to be a ball winning b2b midfielder and that requires fitness. By no means comparing the two but was Kante a great passer? You need a balance and a mixture in CM.

@FullTimeGers Yeah his passing is terrible but if you have a 6 that can get foot on ball and he’s left to be a box to box midfielder then it’s not as much of an issue so long as he’s doing other things which right now he’s not. We probably need two 6s this summer

@JR__1517 We are desperately missing a proper no 6. Still haven’t replaced Davis in the 4 years since he left. I will give him time like I do all players, but early on he seems to struggle to do the basics. His passing at times is atrocious & that’s not something a pre-season fixes.

@Declan_Norwood Chermiti, Naderi, manny, Rommens 4 players with a lot of potential we can build around we need to supplement them with some experience and leadership. And not just someone who’s in their 30s, real leaders who have what it takes to deal with set backs and pressure

We keep Chermiti another season I reckon he flourishes. Got everything to be a top top striker just needs to apply and stop shooting right at the keeper.

@deathdenial I am not wrong there is talent there hence why they can perform one half and then the next half they look like they haven’t ever played the sport. They need leaders, obvisouly there is a multitude that are not talented and need sold too

Rangers have actually got a few really good players in this squad, some really talented young players the problem isn’t a lack of talent, it’s a lack of leadership. No one to galvanise them when shit hits the fan. We don’t need a big rebuild we need some proper leaders signed 1/2

Danny Rohl is a decent young manager who will go on to do well in the game. But where Rangers are and what we need right now isnt him. We need a manager and the American owners need to go and get him now otherwise its another disaster from them.
