@FreeEricG @Bklyn929 Totally agree...but Lemon is not a stable person as evidenced by his pre draft and draft night behavior. One of his combine interviews was w the Jets so I would not be surprised if they took him off their board completely.

Let me just say this cause it. Wild out there. Sadiq provides mismatches. The folks that screamed for lemon do you realize Sadiq was faster than lemon? And about 4 inches taller. What LB is covering him? When they go 12 personnel it’s in fact a mismatch. Line this kid up allover the place. Athletic TES are the current and future of this league. Cole Kmet is a very good TE. But they took Loveland high and how is that working out? #Jets You still got cooper I don’t see the outrage?

@Bklyn929 I get it but JSN was a normal human being. Lemon is clearly not that. VERY talented but I am going to be very interested to see how his career plays out. Guy is NOT stable. Maybe Philly can tame him but a bad fit for a team like us and where we are. Coop is just fine.

@FrankieVitz Bailey the player was never the issue. Whether he becomes a 3 down player for them is. Sadiq was an interesting gamble. Cooper was a terrific move not only giving up so little but also getting the extra contract year.

@BadlandsTOJ No question it was their best draft ever. Also toss in UDRFAs Bruce Harper (best all purpose RB in team history) and Tom Newton (another solid RB). This saved the team after the 1976 season disaster. Holovak should have been hired as GM but wanted to be HC so he left. Shame.

@BadlandsTOJ At the time this looked like a great draft. Hindsight aside, Thomas was the consensus #2 pick and Kiper had Rembert as the #9 player in the entire draft (Rob Moore at #6). Stargell was also an acclaimed pick. Mathis, White and Duffy were quality players. Just didnt work out.

If you draft off the fan base, you wont have a job in the near future. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ The issue Jets Nation has with Will McDonald is that the Jets didn't take JSN. We'll you know multiple teams passed on JSN amd who says JSN is who is who with the QB play Jets have had and offensive struggles. Would love people to go back and see what guy would have had more production that WMD at the #16 spot. Only Zay Flowers and JSN have had success going after WMD and they both woukd have been WR #2 on the Jets with questionable QB play

@LegerDouzable I don't. But because they(Jets HQ) have spun Reese as the guy for months, they have to take him or fan base will not be ok with it. Risk with both picks. Odd top end of draft class. No one is slam dunk. Jets banking that Reese is Parson-like ASAP Don't think it matters in end

@LegerDouzable Yeah, he may be on the field for 3 downs but that doesnt mean hes gonna be effective for 3 downs. See Will McDonald as a good example of that. At least Reese can be versatile. Bailey is not a strong run defender.

@LegerDouzable Bc Bailey isn’t going to be a 3 down player I don’t think. I’m not saying he’s Will McDonald, but he’s similar in his strengths. He will rush the passer like a demon, but his run game isn’t the best. Our 2nd overall pick needs to play more than 40-50% of the snaps.
