I think this is where most people are at if they are being honest and putting agendas aside. The regs have improvements, however have ruined some aspects.
LawVS@LawVSX

@Verstappenn_ How about tolerating them, accepting their failures and understanding these regs won't stand still?

@thef1diplomat I wont criticise Russell for slapping Bottas in the same way I won’t criticise Max for the collision with George in Spain. These drivers have adrenaline running through them. Both of them reached a boiling point, they both know what they did was wrong but they let out frustration

Whenever anyone wants to “get” George, they’ll refer to this incident 5+ years ago, or Singapore ‘23. Meanwhile we have multiple instances of Max doing shit deserving of criticism each year. This insecure cope is hilarious. Also, GR took responsibility for this and apologized.

@F1Ledges @autosport He was robbed of it, but I don’t think it’s Hamiltons best. I think Hamilton in 21 had too many rookie errors or races he didn’t capitalise: Baku, Imola, Monaco, Turkey. However Hamilton 07 is probably the greatest season to not win a title, Rookie tax makes it so impressive.

@autosport Hamilton 2007. 2021 he was cheated out of a world title. Vettel deserved 2012.

What's the greatest F1 campaign that didn't end with a world title? 🏆 Lauda in 1976? Alonso in 2012? Hamilton in 2021? They all get a mention in our latest Autosport Retro episode 🎙️ You can watch the full debate here: autosport.com/f1/video/top-1…

@ManderzF1 @thomachen14 Also I don’t think this one is real, I can’t find any sources to show that this one is real, I think someone has edited this together as their is no actual footage I can find.

@ManderzF1 @thomachen14 I find it quite funny that when they were pitching ideas for the Christmas ads they thought that the season of cheer should be depicted by two of the craziest accidents of the 2021 season.

@evlm130047877 @AlexLacl @shanethecnfsr Why do you think Kers went away. Ur also assuming I like DRS. DRS wasn’t yo yo racing it was get the move done once then the driver fucks off. DRS was also subject to so many complaints. How do you get overtaking without gimmicks when the fastest car starts first?

@JRbwaker @AlexLacl @shanethecnfsr Drs is literally yoyo racing like you guys complain about you guys don't actually care it's so obvious and weve had battery charge overtakes since 2012 from kers lmaooo

@AlexLacl @shanethecnfsr I agree with the latter half of your statement these cars are great everywhere except qualifying and I would extend that to also being rubbish on any extended period of full throttle take 130r at Suzuka.

@JRbwaker @shanethecnfsr No it's not only about that you had to use your racing iq in the battles. China is the best example the racing will be extremely great in tracks with few straights. As the Ferrari drivers said these cars are great but engines in qualifying is the negative part. That's it

@NicoleOnRacing Anyone who praises DRS is dumb, DRS was at its best when it could get you into the position to fight in the corners, which it rarely did. However, these new regs take DRS overtakes and exemplify them. The new regs work everywhere except the straights.

I love how people on this app just lack basic comprehension, the tweet is as simple as they want the prior engine formula in this years cars. Not this 50/50, whether the exact engine of last year fits or not is irrelevant to the point of the tweet.
Bohzo@McLarensMood

Loving this lemon account who pretends to be a diehard F1 fan but actually knows nothing and postures himself as competent while putting other down He thinks engineers just magically made a narrower, shorter and lighter car without having to repackage & redesign power units? 😭

@AlexLacl @shanethecnfsr Every reg prior had dirty air. The only reason we are getting overtakes is because you have to introduce a number of gimics where the overtaking car has performance advantages.

@shanethecnfsr The racing on sundays is absolutely great. Qualifying needs to be solved but you max fans act like these regs are shit while you enjoyed the boats ground effect era with DRS and a lot of dirty air. Be serious

@BaxtyB @11LDALIAM @Versutta Could have been avoided, that’s easy for us and media to criticise when we don’t have the testosterone flowing through us nor the heat of the moment on us. He made a mistake, but I disagree that it’s easy to avoid.

Trap questions are fine when they align with my perspective. Journalists who ask questions just to provoke and anger their subjects shouldn’t be entertained. Respect is mutual. What I will say was badly handled was how Giles’ snide ass made it inside Red Bull’s hospitality.

@BaxtyB @11LDALIAM @Versutta I mean that’s Maxs issue, why single out one of if not his only mistake that year, when you have a plethora of reasons outside of Max as to why he shouldn’t have even had a chance at the title to begin with. Only because it was Max in the car was it a battle.

@11LDALIAM @Versutta Journalists were going to want to ask him about that considering it cost him a championship. And from what I remember, it was the first time this journalist raised that question with him and the first time in the presser. So all of this is moot

No it was a trap question. What reaction does it provide other than to provoke. What new story is there to be told that wasn’t told at the time or that we don’t already know? Would you expect journalists to ask Lewis that Baku 21 played a part in costing him the championship?
BaxtyB@BaxtyB

@Versutta This is pathetic. There was no trap question. He asked a legitimate question about Max costing himself a championship. Now you are attempting to trap me. Which is more childish than Max was. Grow up
