Sorry, guys, but I'm fed up with messages such as "we express our solidarity to Ukraine," "we'll increase our pressure on russia," "we'll step in our military assistance to Kyiv," and bla bla bla, without directly intervening, at least—bare minimum—by closing the skies. #disgrace

There is only one clear way to end the war: Ukraine needs the tools to hit Russian oil facilities and defense infrastructure continuously and with devastating force. Cutting off the fuel and funding for the invasion is the ultimate key to stopping the invasion

Russia, with its missile attacks, destroyed last night the unique National Chornobyl Museum in Kyiv’s Podil… look at the precious heritage of our history the Kremlin is waging war against, because fighting the Ukrainian army is proving far more difficult for it. The museum housed more than 22,000 exhibits related to the 1986 nuclear disaster.

This coffee shop in Kyiv opened yesterday, then got hit by a russian air strike just hours later. Today, they're still open and people in Kyiv are lining up to buy a coffee to support them, stepping over debris and broken glass on the way in. FYI, the coffee is excellent 🇺🇦

Two women killed. Dozens wounded. Yet another vile strike by Moscow against Kyiv and its residents. Last night, the Russians targeted the very heart of our capital. The National Art Museum, the Philharmonic, the Music Academy, and the Yaroslav the Wise Library were badly damaged. The Chornobyl Museum was almost completely destroyed. Architectural landmarks of Podil and the historic center were also damaged: the Contract House, the Postal Station, the Church of the Nativity of Christ, the Kyiv Opera, and schools. This is a war against our culture, memory, and identity. For centuries, Moscow has tried to destroy everything that makes us Ukrainian. This is genocide. We are documenting each of these crimes for future tribunals. Our memory cannot be burned away by missiles. We will rebuild everything. My deepest condolences to the families of those killed. Strength to all Kyiv residents affected by this attack. Glory to Ukraine!

"Crazy assholes", - President Zelenskyi emotionally reacted on the damage the Russian strike done to the Chornobyl museum. He visited the location that was damaged during the air raid last night, just as many civilian buildings in Kyiv. Video: Kyiv Operatyvny Telegram channel.

There is no such thing as Russian ‘retaliatory strikes’, remember, they’re just regular strikes

Ukraine’s response should be a strike on Red Square, including Lenin’s Mausoleum. There would be a certain political irony - and symbolism - in watching Russia spend money rebuilding Lenin’s mummy.
Yaroslav Trofimov@yarotrof

Russia threatened to do this if Ukraine attacked the May 9 parade on the Red Square. After Trump’s intervention on Putin’s behalf, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire so Russia could hold the parade. Two weeks later, Putin unleashed the ballistic missile barrage on central Kyiv anyway.

A shopping mall. A market. The entrance to a subway station. A sports center. What do we usually call an organization that blows up malls and subway station? That’s right: a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. And we recognize it as one. And we hunt its members down and arrest them.

Horrific. Morning footage from Kyiv Ukraine after Russia poured ballistic missiles on civilian neighborhoods, targeting apartment buildings, schools, markets, and bomb shelters full of people. Video: @radiosvoboda's reporter Serhii Nuzhnenko.

After 4 years of activity, NAFO fellas are still at it, supporting Ukraine in various ways. In-between donating to Ukrainian initiatives, the doggos make sure that russia doesn't receive extra profit or materials to manufacture weapons. And it actually works. Their recent campaign, #Alumina21, aimed at banning the trade between Ireland’s Aughinish Alumina plant and russia, by adding it to the 21st Sanction package caught the eye of the European Commission. alumina21.com Thank you for doing your best, by “becoming worse.” This is the way🇺🇦

Claims that the Baltic States allow Ukraine to use their airspace are utter nonsense - and Russia knows it. Moscow’s threats against the Baltic States are not a sign of strength, but of weakness. Russia is failing on the battlefield in Ukraine and is trying to intimidate us into reducing our support for Ukraine. The right response is to do the opposite: increase our support to Ukraine and boost Europe’s defences even further.

This is good news for Poland and our Baltic allies. I’m glad the President reversed the SecDef decision to withdraw the Brigade from Poland. Poland walks the talk and deserves our close partnership.

As I've written repeatedly, the US needs permanent bases in #Finland, the #BalticStates and most importantly, in #Poland to ensure deterrence holds. This is truly urgent today, after two decades of appeasing #Russia by Europe's largest powers, especially Merkel's #Germany. 5/6

I’m grateful to our warriors for their precision – today, Ukraine’s long-range sanctions have once again reached Perm, which is more than 1,500 kilometers from our border. Recently, there have also been important results in Chelyabinsk – up to 1,800 kilometers away, as well as in Yekaterinburg – nearly 2,000 kilometers away. The effects of Ukraine’s long-range capabilities have also been felt in Novorossiysk, Krymsk, Tuapse, and in the Samara and Nizhny Novgorod regions. We have repeatedly offered the Russian leadership the option of moving toward peace. In response, we have received only new Russian strikes. That is exactly why Ukraine’s long-range sanctions are extending to distant locations in Russia linked to its military-industrial complex, war infrastructure, and the financing of its aggression. Every day, Russia can make a choice and end its war. And not for a few hours in order to receive our permission to hold a parade in Moscow, but in a way that protects human lives. People must be valued, not parades. There is a need to establish peace, rather than running around the world’s capitals begging for a pause on May 9. We need peace. Thank you to everyone helping bring Russia to this realization.

There is little point in striking Moscow on May9. The very fact that Russia is issuing that kind of 'warning' is already humiliating for Putin. There will be more valuable targets, now likely deprived of air defence due to the need to cover a bunch of senile old men on Red Square
Bloomberg@business

Russia has told foreign governments and organisations to evacuate diplomatic staff and citizens from Kyiv, saying a retaliatory strike would be inevitable if Ukraine tried to attack Moscow during May 9 World War II Victory Day celebrations bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

If would be crazy if instead of striking Moscow, during the May 9th parade, Ukraine 🇺🇦 had spent months stockpiling dozens of Flamingo cruise missiles and destroyed the Yelabuga drone factory while Putin was in the middle of his speech
