A reminder that Gonzaga beat Alabama, Kentucky, and UCLA by double digits in the non-conference slate. They pair their “easier” conference schedule with a tough non-conference every year to balance it. They don’t constantly finish top-15 metrically for no reason.

@JRoseWx St Mary’s is a much tougher matchup for N.C. State. Thrives off the 3P shot while Kentucky does not. I’d take Kentucky or the potential 7-seeds due to that.

@JRoseWx The inverse to that is UCF and Clemson are both BARELY ahead, and Missouri just behind all on pace to take losses. Overall no movement for NC State.

@mcblimp95 @BobVeneer They are 13-16 with only 4 ACC wins. I’m shocked it’s not Q3, but guess it’s hard to be that low in a power conference. We now have losses to 2 of the bottom 3 teams in the conference. Ugly losses matter, which is why I’d say we are closer to a 9 than an 8 seed.

Quad 2 road loss today btw, and borderline Q1 actually with tomorrow’s updates. Still top-35 in every user metric. Unfortunate stretch we’ve had but the doom and gloom light the place on fire folks have really got to get a grip.
