@JSGleason136245 @firstEstateKLB The book says it’s “God breathed” so it must be God’s word ? Do you believe everything you read and do you believe this is a sort of literal statement in that verse? How do you know The Holy Bible is true to begin with?

I just took my daughter to Moana and I cried.. a lot I not once mistook it for the spirit telling me it was true. I’m wondering how that argument became a strawman for those who trust their feelings - and yet tell me they are objective Christians or ex Mormons.

@soothkeep @Tanseysue Exactly, the commendation is not to judge with unrighteous judgement. They render this passage illogical who interpret it falsely not to make judgments.

Judge Not? Really? "Judge not" (Matthew 7) is one of the most quoted—and most misunderstood—verses in Scripture. Jesus was not forbidding all judgment. He was condemning hypocritical judgment. He doesn't say, "Never remove the speck from your brother's eye." He says, first remove the beam from your own eye, then you will see clearly to help your brother. The passage even ends by commanding discernment: "Do not give what is holy to dogs or cast your pearls before swine." That requires making righteous judgments. Biblical accountability isn't harshness or a censorious spirit. It's a God-given responsibility that promotes holiness, spiritual growth, and the health of Christ's church. Misusing "Judge not" to silence all correction only hinders the very work God calls us to do.

@JSGleason136245 @firstEstateKLB I’m sure the words reflect what was originally written. I’m asking how do you know the original authors were telling you the very truth?

@AaronAsher11 @firstEstateKLB One of many reasons: The Bible has been copied and preserved through ages with an extraordinary number of manuscripts and careful transmission, giving us confidence that the words we read today reflect what was originally written.

@JSGleason136245 @firstEstateKLB How do you know that everything in The Holy Bible is perfectly accurate? Who gave you this whole formula for truth, as you’ve explained it here? It seems a bit arbitrary to me. Please explain?

Trump said Lindsey Graham called him last night to tell him we are set for the Save America Act and then Graham suddenly died.

@AaronAsher11 @firstEstateKLB The original texts in Hebrew and Greek → early translations (e.g., Septuagint, Latin Vulgate) → Reformation-era translations into vernacular languages (Luther in German, Tyndale and others in English) → the King James and then later modern English translations.

@Apologetics941 The Mormon church was one of the most racist & pro-slavery churches to ever exist, justifying it with their doctrine from their prophet. Contemporary preachers (true Christians) taught vehemently against racism & slavery, helping speed its end. Look up Charles Finney.

Read this. This is a Mormon "Prophet" saying these things. Pure racist garbage.

🚨One Reason I Cannot Accept Christianity. Accepting Christianity means accepting that my ancestors are burning in hell simply because Christianity hadn't reached them. How is that compatible with a just and loving God?
