@arrow_dark40989 Congrats! Recently did the same but haven’t tipped into plus territory yet. Just a nice pure 0.0 after years struggling as a 5hc… Be proud! You’re part of the 1%!!!

Reached scratch. +0.8. Don’t care if I shoot a billion for 20 straight rounds. I did it.

Man, I hate saying goodbye to my son. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but it just gets harder and harder. Trusting in God to help get through this not so fun patch while trying to be fun for him.

@LotsaGray @themattbank I hit the 7 wood about 235-240 with the shaft I have in it- so it really is a perfect gap between 4i and 4/5wood

@themattbank @JSGolf7 If you are hitting a 4I 220 and are consistent with it you are not really good candidate for 7W. I wood think a Heaven wood would be better

I currently carry 12 clubs in the bag. Wedges: 60, 56, 52, P Irons: 9-4 Driver Putter In the past, I could never hit a 3 wood. But I need something between 4 iron and driver. 4 iron goes about 220 right now. What's my next club?

I saw a golf coach somewhere saying players would benefit from more time in the course, and less time on the range. I’ve been unofficially testing this theory the last two months and so far I believe it fully

@realJarNod Send me yours when you have it. I have a connections already and I’m reaching out to other content creators to see about filming. I was more hesitant prior to reaching a scratch handicap but that helped my confidence immensely

I'm debating starting a golf youtube channel. I know it's oversaturated, but I would do it because it would keep me accountable to the steps I want to take in order to become a plus handicap.

One of the windiest days of the year on a course that has had multiple inches of water dumped on it in the last couple of days and was aerated less than two weeks ago. Overall fairly pleased, considering the conditions and it brings me back to an even zero handicap. Next step plus territory. #golf #golfer #golfing #golflife

@BadgerTrav @themattbank I think the point being made here is more for a certain demographic of player. I’ve a 10-year-old and a six-year-old and I run to the same issue with both of them. Ironically, every time we ride in a cart, they want to get out and run down the fairway lol

@themattbank @JSGolf7 I prefer to walk. But most courses won't let my kids walk along with me, only ride. And trying to get my kids into golf getting to ride in the cart is part of the reason they want to come so they get to drive the cart a bit. If I told them they had to walk they wouldn't come

I think golf carts ruined golf. It went from a thinking game to an efficiency game. Carts create a sense of urgency that does not need to exist. Besides "playing faster" what is one good reason for carts?

@themattbank agree, unfortunately the majority of clients I take out to play golf are not very good. They usually are not in good shape to walk/carry, or don’t have push carts. maybe I just need better clients 🤣. I do think all golfers would improve if walking was the norm.

@JSGolf7 100%. Carts are a thing, so they are gonna be necessary in situations. But imagine how much stronger the connection with clients would be if you spent 4 hours walking and talking next to them vs zooming to the ball

@benpearlgolf Apparently it’s driven by the insurance companies. But yes that definitely affected my desire to ever return

Currently on the floor “stretching” (aka groaning) My wife keeps trying to get me to order some peptides to help with ongoing recovery issues. Bad shoulder, bad elbow, lingering back issues. I’m sold on the effectiveness, but hate needles. 😂 Someone push me over the edge, this stuff is getting miserable

@benpearlgolf What annoyed me was my doc saying 3 years ago “no it’s not low enough to be concerned”. Then 2 years later it had dropped to what had been considered low and she said “oh we updated what we considered low”. It dropped 150 points!! Moral is- talk to a specialist.

@bPardini10 I see what you’re doing here. Get all of us to stop entering in order to increase your odds so you finally get selected. It’s sneaky and smart and diabolical. I wish I had thought of it.

Pro tip for tickets to the Masters: Don’t enter the lottery and you won’t be disappointed. First year not entering and it’s the same result as if I did

@benpearlgolf I’ll add that my doc was “not concerned” despite me feeling like I was 70. Fought me on TRT. Spent a year on protocol and in the gym and went back in April for a physical “20yrs and this is the best I’ve ever seen you” Can’t speak for peptides but this was a great decision

@benpearlgolf So I was in a similar boat last spring. My doctor had a lab panel done and my testosterone had fallen off a cliff and I was in a burn out state. Went to a specialist, started TRT and boron and DHEA. Test tripled - now I can carry 18 3x a week/ work 3-4x no issue at age 45
