Rassie gets his win in Dublin. The Springboks bullied Ireland for the full 80, yet the scoreboard barely reflects the dominance. If we’re being honest, they’ll be disappointed this wasn’t a 50-point blowout against an Irish side that completely lost their discipline. Watching this game made me wonder how the rugby world will spin this result. Neither team deserves praise for that performance but you just know they’ll get it. If the All Blacks produced a match like this, whether on the winning or losing side, those glass-half-full/glass-half-empty podcasters would tear us to pieces. @jon_cardinelli Incredible by the Bokke. Not their best team by selection but that makes sense against Italy. Blood the youngest etc but 10 min in for the coaches and inexperienced players to step up and not lose from their is extraordinary. Shows how the squad mentality is.

Terrific fight shown by the Boks in Turin. Down to 14 for 70 mins, and 13 at one stage, and still limited Italy to 1 try. Proper test for players and coaches. Perfect storm of setbacks and Boks still won by 18.

@ChalynRugby I think Ramos slipped ever lower as Lood approached. I don't think Lood could have done anything else as Ramos was practically on the floor. Maybe he needed to show his arms a bit more. But surely Gardiner could issued a yellow and let the bunker decide?
