ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಬೆನ್ನುಹತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೂ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಅನ್ನುವುದು ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ನಡೆ.. ಅವಿವೇಕ.
ಸಮರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರು, ಇಲ್ಲದವರು ಎನ್ನೋ ವಾದ ಮುಂದಿಡುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರ,
ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಏನಾದ್ರೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಹೊಂದಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು ಅಪರಾಧ!!

ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೀಳಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಶ್ರಮವಹಿಸಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಭಾಷಾ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 15 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದಲೇ ದ್ವಿಭಾಷಾ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಆರಂಭಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆ 1, 55,950 ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ EMTT ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗುರಿ. ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. #BilingualEducation #GovtSchools #EMTT #KannadaAndEnglish #MadhuBangarappa #GovtSchools #3YearsOfNavaKarnataka #GuaranteeSarakara #EducationMinister #Governmentschollsofkarnataka #Shalashikshana

No need of 3rd language. State language and English is sufficient whichever board is in concern. Intention of 3 language formula is to push Hindi (directly or indirectly) in non Hindi Indian states.

Here's a simple solution for this 3rd language issue under NEP. CBSE can create an online pool of teachers for all langauges. Students across India can learn 3rd language online from such certified teachers. Opposing 3rd language helps politics, but not students. @EduMinOfIndia

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made the study of three languages compulsory for students from Class IX beginning July 1, 2026, while clarifying that there will be no Board examination for the third language (R3) in Class X. In a circular issued on May 15, the Board said that at least two of the three languages must be native Indian languages, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. “With effect from 1st July 2026, for Class IX, the study of three languages (R1, R2, R3) shall be compulsory, with at least two languages being native Indian languages,” the circular stated.
