Most good seats hv sold out for my play entering its last wk. Cheaper balcony tix available. Ofc I’m happy, but my over-riding feeling lurches between heart-break & howling rage at the state of the U.K. Asking people to pay to watch theatre in these punishing times is a big ask.

Also this 👇It takes time and effort to prepare for an audition, sometimes you have to give up a shift to attend one. It's not the most difficult thing to let them know at least. A production needs actors as much as actors need the job.
