The DOJ's deadline to charge Fauci for lying under oath about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan is in 6 days. We can’t allow the statute of limitations to run out. He MUST be charged! Agree? RT.

Antigone may be the origin of independent thought in Western literature. Here is a young woman who stands against the king, against the state, against the consensus of everyone around her, because she believes a higher law demands it. She buries her brother knowing it will cost her life. When I teach Sophocles to students, I don't start with literary analysis. I start with a question: "Have you ever known something was right even though everyone around you disagreed?" Every student has a story. The shy kid who wouldn't go along with bullying. The teenager who questioned a rule that seemed unjust. They know what it feels like to stand alone with their own conviction. Then we read Antigone, and suddenly a 2,500-year-old play becomes personal. What Sophocles teaches, and what no amount of lecturing about "critical thinking" can replicate, is the lived experience of watching someone reason through an impossible moral situation and choose based on principle. Students don't learn independent thought from being told to think independently. They learn it from inhabiting the minds of those who actually did. This is why I believe great literature is not a nice supplement to education. It's foundational. These texts are where young people encounter the full weight of what it means to think for yourself and accept the consequences.

Democrats in Minnesota voted just yesterday(?) to massively restrict gun rights in the sate of Minnesota as well as start a mandatory gun registry. Now they are voting to keep dead people on Minnesota voter rolls. We're going to need some federal help here in Minnesota soon I think.
GRANDPA’s FREE ADVICE@GOP_is_Gutless

🚨 Minnesota Democrats Gone Wild Every single Minnesota Senate Democrat just voted AGAINST removing dead people from the state’s voter rolls. They literally want corpses staying on the books. The Democrat Party has officially lost the plot. This is how they “protect democracy”? #VoterIntegrity #ElectionFraud #Minnesota #DrainTheSwamp RT if this is insane.

Thomas Massie is exactly right. The PRIME Act is about one thing: getting Washington out of the way of American farmers. Small producers shouldn't need to jump through federal hoops just to sell meat directly to their neighbors, local restaurants, and small businesses. States should have the power to govern their own local commerce. Big government has no business standing between a farmer and his customer. The House has passed it. Now it's time for the Senate to do the same.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie

🔥The Farm Bill that includes my 🥩 PRIME Act pilot just passed the House! This is a game changer for farmers — and provides access to locally raised beef, pork, and lamb for consumers! We also stripped the immunity/state labeling ban for pesticides from the Farm Bill. MAHA!

Mathematics. The number 69,696 is a remarkable number and certainly my favorite of all the integers. A monk once presented this number to a student and said: "What do you find significant about 69,696?" The student thought for a few seconds and replied, "That is too easy, Master. It's the largest undulating square known to humanity.” The teacher pondered this answer, and he started to undulate in a mixture of excitement and perhaps even terror. To understand the monk's passionate response, we must digress to some simple mathematics. “Undulating Numbers” are of the form: ababababab.... For example, 171717 and 28282 are undulating numbers. A square number is of the form y=x². For example, 25 is a square number. So is 16. An undulating square is simply a square number that undulates. When I first conceived the idea of undulating squares many years ago, it was not known if any such numbers existed. It turns out that 69696 = 264² is indeed the largest undulating square known to humanity, and most mathematicians believe we will never find a larger one. -- From my book: Pickover, C., "Keys to Infinity," Wiley.

Why is May chosen as the month in which we exercise a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin? . The first reason is because it is the time when the earth bursts forth into its fresh foliage and its green grass after the stern frost and snow of winter and the raw atmosphere and the wild wind and rain of the early spring. It is because the blossoms are upon the trees and the flowers are in the gardens. It is because the days have got long, and the sun rises early and sets late. For such gladness and joyousness of external Nature is a fit attendant on our devotion to her who is the Mystical Rose and the House of Gold. . May belongs to the Easter season, when there are frequent Alleluias, because Christ has risen from the grave. Mary is “the first of creatures, the most acceptable child of God, the dearest and nearest to Him. It is fitting then that this month should be hers, in which we especially glory and rejoice in His great Providence to us, in our redemption and sanctification. . Mary loves us because we are her children. A loving and tender Mother is never wearied by the importunities of her little ones; and Mary, who is the most loving and tender of all mothers, will never weary of hearing and answering our petitions. The one great thing that she desires for all her children is, that they should become like her Son Jesus. He is the only Child who never disobeyed her or grieved her. It is for His love that she loves us. How great must be His love for us, when He inspires Mary with such a love! The best return we can make Him is to have a perfect trust and confidence in His Blessed Mother. Those who are not devout to Mary cannot really understand the great mystery of the Incarnation, and do not love Jesus as they should--for if they loved Him, they would love His Mother also. . Let us try, then, during this month of May, to become more like Jesus. Let us consider what spiritual grace we need most in order to attain this great end, and let us ask it with confidence every day. Let us also try to induce others to honour Mary by special devotion to her during this month.

🚨Magnetic gears are underrated. No contact means: • Less wear • Less friction • Lower maintenance • Built-in overload protection The interesting part isn’t the gear. It’s the transfer of force through a field. Same job as mechanical contact but without touching. That’s where engineering is heading: Less collision. More controlled interaction.
