The Supreme Court just gutted the Voting Rights Act, which has protected voters from discriminatory redistricting for decades. Within hours, Republicans all over the country rushed to pass aggressive gerrymanders. This is voter suppression with a rubber stamp of approval, and it’s wrong. I spent my career as a prosecutor believing the law protects everyone equally. This ruling sends us back in time and tells folks their votes can be diluted and their voices silenced. Well, I refuse to sit back and let that reality take effect without a fight. Congress must act to restore these protections, and that’s exactly what I’ll do when elected.

That's an interesting chart. Young men have stayed similarly conservative for over 25 years, while young women have drifted much further left. Why such a divergence? What has changed for young women that hasn't changed for young men?

Every year at graduation time it's the same scandal .... At top colleges and universities, virtually all the commencement and baccalaureate speakers and honorary degree recipients are liberals and Democrats. It's way past time to end the ideological bias in the selection process.
