As if oil shortages, perpetual war, and the #ClimateCrisis weren’t stressful enough, there’s a super-El Niño brewing that looks like it’ll be one of the most severe in over a century. The last time we saw one as severe, it killed 50 million people.

But we also have the Green Party and Iwi who are basically the mafia, they want a massive cut but bring nothing to the table so I think it’s unrealistic to navigate these hurdles right now but hopefully one day.

@NZNationalParty Good to get the basics right (something left bloc can’t comprehend) but now think of a bigger vision for NZ that allows us to become (better than the situation of today) a developed nation

National is stopping wasteful spending so we can get the books in order and reduce the size of government. Getting back to surplus will reduce the amount of debt we are saddling on our kids - and it helps keep inflation under control so Kiwis have more opportunities to get ahead.

@RevisionistNow @JSmithofNZ Good ideas. Making non-citizen criminals pay their own way out and turning prisons into productive farms cuts the burden on taxpayers. Tourists footing their own bills is long overdue common sense.
