@nickofnz And we’re all anticipating your slimy lies and straw-man attempts to link this to your fictional man-made climate change BS
English

As if oil shortages, perpetual war, and the #ClimateCrisis weren’t stressful enough, there’s a super-El Niño brewing that looks like it’ll be one of the most severe in over a century.
The last time we saw one as severe, it killed 50 million people.
English

@nickofnz Believing that the NZ Govt has “ignored international law” is disingenuous, insidious BS🤡
The ICJ opinion is advisory, not binding on NZ domestic law. NZ has not formally repudiated the Paris Agreement or any climate treaties.
“Ignored the science”…. that is also opinion
English

@chrisluxonmp Energy independency… yes please 🙏 ✅

@NMowbray23 New Zealand thinks too small, as if we are destined to remain a modest, isolated economy dependent on commodity cycles and property inflation. Think bigger

So true. So many good people say nothing.
Most people would rather belong than be right. The majority are to fair-full to speak up. I respect people 10 x more who are willing to fight to do the right thing. Often the right thing to do is never the easiest.

@crazy_lekiwi @matt_horncastle Relatively underexplored and some gas/oil has been found from my understanding
English

@JSmithofNZ @matt_horncastle I don’t disagree. Just zero proven reserves after a couple of decades of searching.
English

@crazy_lekiwi @matt_horncastle Highly likely🛢️and should be explored as opportunity to eliminate sovereign debt and fund NZ’s future:
-Great South Basin
-Canterbury Basin
-East Coast Basin

@truereckons1 and see @nickofnz quietly drinking herbal tea by himself. They turn around and leave… there’s only so much negativity a bar can hold.
English

@matt_horncastle @nickofnz but he only dinks herbal tea

@RevisionistNow @kaiviti_cam Majority rules mate, push them out of the way
English

@JSmithofNZ @kaiviti_cam I agree. We have a lot of natural resources, we are truly blessed. But we also have the Green Party and Iwi who are basically the mafia, they want a massive cut but bring nothing to the table so I think it’s unrealistic to navigate these hurdles right now but hopefully one day.
English

Nicola Willis says NZ Super needs adjusting as the taxpayer burden grows. No dramatic OECD cuts, just reality catching up. The intergenerational bill is real and pretending otherwise is how we got into this mess.

@RevisionistNow @kaiviti_cam National wealth creates national resilience.
English

@JSmithofNZ @kaiviti_cam What are your ideas? Lots of small positive changes affect the big picture.
English

@AucklandIsland The left have bludging unionists to do their bidding
English

National has 11 million dollars to buy votes and billboards on every street corner. That's not democracy it's oligarchy.
Tax wealth not work.

@NZNationalParty Good to get the basics right (something left bloc can’t comprehend) but now think of a bigger vision for NZ that allows us to become (better than the situation of today) a developed nation
English

New Zealand thinks too small, as if we are destined to remain a modest, isolated economy dependent on commodity cycles and property inflation. Think bigger @NZNationalParty
English

@kaiviti_cam @RevisionistNow Rubbish ideas. Save a few $$ mentality. New Zealanders thinks too small, as if we are destined to remain a modest, isolated economy dependent on commodity cycles and property inflation. Think bigger
English

@RevisionistNow @JSmithofNZ Good ideas. Making non-citizen criminals pay their own way out and turning prisons into productive farms cuts the burden on taxpayers. Tourists footing their own bills is long overdue common sense.
