What an incredible end to such a special week. Whenever I look back on my time as a streamer, I know this will be the thing I am most proud of. This is in honor of every Destiny Community member, past and present. Thank you for the core memories. ❤️❤️❤️

@RedRibbon_Vicky @gamestop A game license is different in that there is a value assigned to the asset by publishers. The ability to sell / trade licenses would be a percentage of that based on current MSRP of the game. Similar to how used game sales have worked for decades.

Hey @gamestop, here’s how you save your company & become the biggest name in gaming for the future: Create a platform that lets consumers trade their game keys / licenses like we can used games. Split the value between consumer & publisher & you take a cut / fee. You’re welcome

@PureLogarithm @gamestop You’re thinking inside the box. Status quo can be changed if the system benefits them enough and the model can be proven profitable. “Keys” are just licenses tied to an account.

@JSniperton @gamestop You can't resell used game codes - once you use them they are tied to your account and you can't transfer them to another person per EULA. Sony won't allow it, MS won't and neither will Nintendo so this is dead on arrival.

@eksforos @Daytona_520 @gamestop You must have missed the “create a platform” part. There needs to be a central platform to facilitate keys across devs and publishers. Yes, publishers have control over what is shared, but if there is no platform to facilitate the trades, there’s no point for consumers to buy in.

@Daytona_520 @JSniperton @gamestop So “GameStop” would be the absolute last entity on earth, who would be able to facilitate license transfers. This will be a direct native feature, dependent on the publishers - tracked with 100% accuracy and unmovable outside the publishers terms.

@danfinitygg Alpha 998 is the only reason I was able to run and learn raids regularly. It was completely their idea for someone in the squad to stream our shenanigans. I volunteered to figure it out and the rest is history. 🥹
