We throw Floriano in at the deep end today - she lines up in the Gr3 Shweppervesence Stakes (1800m) at Morphettville. The distance should suit, she has come through her last race well, so we hope to see her run a nice race in quality company.Good luck to all owners and the team.

We head to Murray Bridge today with three runners. Picayune resumes in the first, Rapid Raiser sees a rise in trip in the last and Floriano has her maiden start in r3 over 1200m, which may be a little sharp for the staying-bred filly but we hope to see her run well.

We are pleased to be running Picture Me Rolling in the 2040m Listed feature at Morphettville today. She has pulled up really well from her win last week and although it is up in class and on the back-up it will be great to test her at that distance while she is in form.

First starter Rapid Raiser (Rebel Raider-Get Up Stand Up) heads to Morphettville today in race 4 over 1200m. He’s a big horse so we hope he can handle the heat expected today. Good luck to owners and the team at home.

Strangways Falls Stud bred Clear Choice (Rebel Raider-Callipygian) won impressively at Happy Valley in Hong Kong on Wednesday over 1600m. Great to see ‘Barry’, a favourite homebred of ours, performing well overseas.

Due to extreme heat we have scratched our 2 runners, Small Scale & Funckia, from Gawler today. We appreciate the efforts of the club and the TRSA to move the race times but we would still have to travel for 3 hours in 40+ degrees which is not in the best interests of our horses.
