Really helps Drs, ANNP’s, nurses to identify whose who in an emergency. 👍🏻

When I go to hospital for my #mentalhealth ask me about risk and tell me this is because you care. You could say: “It would be really helpful for me to get a better understanding of how you’re feeling so we can figure out together what would help…?” #WeCanTalk #TopTipsTuesday

When I became a mentor, I did so on the basis that I never wanted any student to feel the way some made me feel as a student. Don’t address them as ‘the student’ take time to learn their name, their aspirations. Let them take control at times. Teach them but also learn from them.
