@JamesLBosse Got it! Thanks. What kind of delta for long puts? My experience is that they usually expire worthless but probably 200+ DTE do not lose value that fast.
@MasteredTrader Master, on 20th Jul you wrote :

But we're going higher every day. Can you explain your thought process?
#ES_F Nothing like a market built on short positions. We have 7 below 4008 holding us up now. As longs keep getting paid they have no reason to sell, this keeps supply shut off going into the last 2 trading days of the month.
$TSLA Algo flow shown (not darkpool index) 15min shows confluence into earnings. Today we have gap and go off the morning block (pink). Note that TSLA is trading above last 30 days worth of dark & lit prints.
#ES_F Bird's eye and a closer look at how the shorts pushed price up to where we are currently. Today with $TSLA earnings there could be some movement, watch these areas if we liquidate to see responsive buying as shorts are future buyers. Trade safe out there today folks!
Ran my numbers quickly (Vacation) for June, results were up $28,211.60 for the month. Will post the full details when I get back to the US on the 10th or so. Again this is impacted by assignments and realized versus unrealized gains. YTD I'm at $97,704.74 realized. #OptionsBBQ
I turned bearish
when SPX > 3925 = 1st target for scale-in bearish positions
super bearish (70% probability)
2nd target
if SPX > 4025 & VIX < 25 as I explained the last few days; more scale-in bearish trades
third target = 50% coin-flip.
