Isn’t it incredible how politically ‘middle ground’ the UK is yet we always end up with either a far left or a right right party. They release their values don’t wash with 50% of the population, end up being very ‘centric’ and always come out of it less popular because of it….

Whilst I love this take, when FC first introduced evo’s they “forced” a chain, so you could only evo EVO’s that were meant for the evo before it and people fucking hated it and now we have this meta bullshit. So EA can’t win… #FC26

@BeavisAnMutHead @connFUT And let me tell you it’s a shame. UFL was starting to improve and then they stripped me of all my player progress. I can see PES probably won’t do that but their mechanics just aren’t there. FIFA had this same problem at the start where you press tackle and it does nothing.

@JT_SAFC @connFUT I wish I had an answer for you, I think people are just so reluctant to try anything else even with the pathetic state of the game of FC, I’ve really wish I had a better answer for you. If everybody switched over to eFootball it would be a wonderful thing.

Is there ANYTHING that ea could do to create hype around FC26 and bring people back? Or is the game just completely dead? They seem to be self sabotaging the game this year especially

@BeavisAnMutHead @connFUT I’ve just tried it… it’s bad 🥲 Same issue as UFL had where the defending buttons don’t register / input and you just have to jockey into the opponent to ‘win’ the ball. Dribbling is too robotic to commit / predict your opponents next move, no fluidity and passing inconsistent

This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. @ElDunko96 It’s a problem EA need to fix 🤷‍♂️ Yes > people are ‘meta’ obsessed Yes > the community is awful Yes > people want to win BUT EA must make other formations more viable.

I just played 5 matches on UT and each opponent was in the 4-4-1-1 formation I understand people want to win and that’s the objective on the game but it just gets repetitive because every game is the same. Only so many times you can listen to the same song until it gets boring

@JT_SAFC @connFUT They’re only missing the three big ones R9, Henry & Zidane. The amount of care detail that they take with the legend cyber faces as well is mind blowing. There’s 5,6 or even sometimes 7 different versions of one player to represent their different looks throughout the years

@BeavisAnMutHead @connFUT I appreciate that response. If you can explain to me (as you sound like you play it and enjoy it) how you’re comfortable with the model it presents and how you feel right playing against kids on mobiles via your PS5, and still enjoy it, I’ll give it a go

@JT_SAFC @connFUT If you’re anything like me, a mature, authentic eFootball simulation based player who also cares about hundreds of legends (efootball has roughly 70 more legends than EA) And you wanna play a game that actually resembles real football, then unfortunately the choice is very clear
