Very saddened to hear about the passing away of Mary Boykin, mother of 2 of my fmr Belmont Shore players Ruben (Northern Ariz) & Jamal (Duke/Cal). Her students @ Inglewood HS included Reggie Theus. 1 of the greatest parents I met in 30 yrs of grassroots hoops. Loved her dearly!

@JTheiler4 Sounds like G league. Still always preferred game film. College you got a lot of other things you got to do so time is limited. Pro level focus is all about basketball.

Big difference in watching full games vs synergy clips. Way different feel and flow...

@Jigga2cal Good points and nice to have that guy. At the levels of college I have worked, I had to create the entire scout A to Z, put it on the floor and teach how to defend it. Not nearly as efficient as what you are doing. NBA is a different animal

@JTheiler4 NBA is different we don’t need synergy. VC breaks down all the other stuff and gives us what we need. Prefer second spectrum over synergy anyway. Way better and usefulness. But use synergy for pre draft guys to get a feel for there game.

@Jigga2cal I watched both. I watched full games first for the reasons you listed. Watched Synergy when I felt like I knew what I was looking at and was a the point where I was breaking down and (over)analyzing segments.

@JTheiler4 The synergy clips come from the live game 🤷🏾‍♂️ but if you want a quick snapshot clips it is...I PREFER full games to get a real feel for the whole game. The tempo, the flow, the runs, etc. If it’s one over another it’s always the full game for me...
